IE 8 compatibility for automatic status

Since there is a still a significant amount of users with windows xp (ie 8), is it possible to make the table or just the statuses to be at least viewable internet explorer 8?

That *should* be remedy-able with a doctype. The problem must be with the object tag, everything else is standard HTML.

I moved you into a "widget editor" usergroup which supposedly has the rights to edit widgets. Can you find out if you can?
