Outline
Hey, I heard from my friend that you have been replacing a few images with the reason being the outline was on. I just wanted to let you know just turning the outline on or off is not mandatory and is not a proper reason to replacing images that are of good quality. Now I`m not saying that your doing this for all images, since I see most are for better resolution, which btw is great, but if it`s already going by the policy then it is not needed. Certain people just like the look of no outline better, and I do agree with that myself ;D But again, it is not a proper replacement reason. IF you can find where it says that it`s good to be replaced if the previous image has outline on then by all means go ahead and quote it.
It says so in the image policy o___o http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Mabinogi_World_Wiki:Policy
I don't replace images that don't need to be replaced.
Now that Seecret mentions it, it actually doesn't say it in the policy, which is odd; I swear it used to be on the policy.
The only outlining mentioned in the policy seems to be image outlining (I think that's referring to borders).
It should be in the policy though, if it's not.
Oh. I read that as don't have the outline on in game. Well either way, I've always been told to turn outline AND glow off when taking pictures so that's just what I go by.
Ctrl + F: outline.
Once again, I don't replace images that do not need to be replaced.
I never said you did o.o I was just letting you know since in the Cotton Candy Poofs sword talk you told Paladin that it was in there xD and I couldn't find it
Yes I told Paladin to retake it without outline since it was recently uploaded and I just happened to come across it while I was going through recent changes. Your picture was taken last year, so god knows where that scythe is now. If someone makes an error in their image I will tell them to fix it but only if I spot it soon enough. If not, I'll just replace it myself and not go through the bother.
Lol I didn't mean the scythe I don't even remember putting it up there e.e; I just meant in general. But yea it's okay now. CASE SOLVED :D *slams hammer*
"Take the pictures in good lighting with "Glow Effect" and "Outline Rendering" disabled in Options. The default hotkey to toggle the Glow Effect is the '*' button on the NumPad."
Quoted from the policy page under the Image Policy section.
You realize that was just added by User:Ikkisuki in regards to this talk.
It had been there previously because I remember it. Just quoted since you kept going on about it from being unable to find it. No need to be rude about it.
