Transfer same spirit on weapon with the right dura.

I have a leather long bow ego and I want to transfer it to a colored leather long bow problem is the leather long bow had one less dura than the requiremnent. Does the spirit transfer on the same weapon still has to have the right dura applied? Example: The colored bow I have is 3/8 and the dura for ego is 9.

Yes it follows the same rules as making a spirit weapon. Only thing you can do is hope we get another event that gives out those Durability hammers.
