If that quest goes in the G9 tab, I don't see why not. Obviously, it would go as a subpage of the actual generation 9 page, which "G9" redirects to.
If you're trying to say something against the G# convention, it's a standard convention that every seasoned player recognizes, so it's necessary to support it, albeit necessary to make the official name of the generation be the page title - as it already is. So your objection is kind of irrelevant in that case.
