Do damage titles affect magic?

Nope. Only Int, Magic Attack, or Magic Damage titles will effect Magic. (Magic Attack=/=Magic Damage)

Max damage should help with magic attacks a tiny bit, but you'd be much better off with magic attack titles.

Care to explain how max damage fits into the magic formula? I'm not quiet sure.

Max damage is put into magic damage by using a certain spell constant, which is different for each spell. See: Status#Magic Damage

Back when stacked elves were around it was quite visible with 3k damage non crit lightning bolts.
