What's with the '1 Rank' under reforging & how do I reforge the item that has that? I tried using a npc sold reforge tool & it said I couldn't reforge the item with it.

You can, with a probability, increase the rank of your item's reforge through Fine Reforging Tools or Credne's Reforging Tools.

NPC sold reforging tools only allow you to do an initial reforge.

If you obtained an item with "1 Rank" reforging with no stats under it, it requires a Fine/Credne reforge in order to reveal its reforge.

A Fine Reforge Tool is recommended to be used first to determine the initial number of different reforges before continuing to use a Credne, if desired.
