Glutton Monkey

As of the Bard update, there is now a Glutton monkey sitting in every hot spring. Talking to him brings up a window similar to the Ego feeding window, and you can give him food. I think he has replaced feeding normal monkeys, and the reward list has been updates, because attempting to feed the normal monkeys with a hazelnut mushroom brings up untranslated text The first time you feed a glutton monkey gives you an event giftbox.

I've been stuffing him with hazelnut mushrooms (disliked food) So far, I have gotten

• 1 firewood
• 1 mp30
• Reshaping Your Body (book) (how dare you, you...monkey!)
• 1 shrimp
• 1 monkey fur
• 1 hp30
• Cooking on your Own Vol 2

and from the box I have gotten 3 cookies of dexterity

That box is from the hot springs event. it is NOT a reward from the monkeys. So thank you for not adding it on the list of rewards.

Btw, I found out that a cheap 'liked' food that monkeys like is 500 gold 1x2 apple juice. You can buy a huge amount of that, and go to the glutton monkey, and feed it to death to get your dungeon pass boxes, firework boxes, statue jars, etc.

But over time when I feed these glutton monkeys the same food over and over again, the 'quality' of rewards started dropping...

Yep, they're potential rewards.

I can do a single run with 50k gold rather easily, since I can make the gold from rafting to get 4000 gold per 11 stars. After I get large stacks of dungeon pass boxes I'll sell them for a hefty sum! XD

Granted, I probably already wasted 100k on food items to trade it with... But at least I gained stuff that's not trash and maybe usable (tons of potions).

Also, is the loved food REALLY just those 2? Meaning you must have r9 cooking to attain loved food rewards...

Yes. Just those two.
