Nekojima

Should we mention that this is Nekojima island? Minus the cats and stuff obviously, and how you get there. Edit: They even still use the cat eyes.

Doki Doki is actually of a slightly different shape, if you compare the east shore of the maps of Doki Doki and Nekojima. Also, they removed practically everything that made nekojima nekojima: no cat theme, you can summon dogs, all different npcs, the golden rat man doesn't even spawn anywhere, despite the message appearing. It would seem they made significant effort to take nekojima and NOT give us nekojima

It is exactly the shape of nekojima. The map might have updated like all the other uladh maps to show how the map really is more accurately. If you look closer it fills in those little shades off the lines of the map.

It's more like they recycled Nekojima.
