Achieving Over 50 Dance Points

No matter how well you (and your partner) perform, as long as you both achieve over 50 dance points, will you receive a fixed 40 romance points?

(i.e. What happens if a couple were to achieve 250 dance points? Would they get 200 romance points?)

Correct, you only get 40(50???) points, regardless of how successful.
