Doki Doki Island not to be confused with Nekojima?

Doki Doki Island not to be confused with Nekojima?

When Golden Ratman is spawned as field boss, the message clearly said "appeared in Nekojima"... I believe it's not a "not to be confused with Nekojima" but more of a "North American version of Nekojima"... They just translated Nekojima into "Doki Doki Island" that's all. What do you guys think?

Yes which is why if you look at the very top of the page it says "Not to be confused with Nekojima."

and other posts saying Doki Doki Island is just a recycled Nekojima, even apparently Japan reused Nekojima for this event and KR as well.

It's not a translation, Nekojima and Doki Doki have the same physical, but when it comes to NPCs and other content it's mostly different.

I'd say now that we have doki doki island, we don't need nekojima anymore as it's own page since we never had it in the first place. Especially if it's an event place. We don't put Caravan Joe as an npc of dunbarton. Nexon can change any part of the map for events. Including the heart cloud, and the dungeon, and the other gems. See events like shadow of eweca fishing event in 2009, and events where they changed all of dunbarton for festive themes.
