Talk:Zombie Attack Event (2009)

From Mabinogi World Wiki

We need to get some information on the zombies here.

I know the female ones can be frozen by Ice Spear, so they have no Mana Reflector. I'm pretty sure the male ones have Level 3, due to no freeze and one damage. I didn't see any Kid Zombies tonight. The Bomber ones have mana reflector as well. They are all 0 exp.

Anyone want to start working on the monster pages?

Been another day. The Kid zombies have lower health and move a good bit faster. I think maybe 100 health? Not all female/male zombies follow the normal rules, there are some females with Mana Reflector, which is unfair.

I've noticed the "unfair" zombies only appear after midnight, they seem to act like regular zombies from TNN (They also give exp, as opposed to the zombies before midnight, which give none) ~ Maxurion

The "fair" zombies (the females that are immune to melee, and the males the are immune to ranged/magic) also have advanced heavy stander. They CANNOT be knocked back/down. ~ Maxurion

It seems that the ones that give exp are the ones that the Innocent Zombie summons. It's these summoned zombies that acts like the ones from TNN (i.e. hurtable by melee, not by magic or ranged). Beepuke 04:30, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

A lot of us are starting to notice some things...

- They do give exp, but I have several different numbers and couldn't tell which ones belonged to which:

    - 350 Exp
    - 50 Exp
    - 35 Exp
    - 0 Exp (I assume this was the Kid Zombies since this showed up a lot on my system log)

- Someone thinks that the ones that are "Innocent Zombies" summon the "Volatile Zombies" after being hit (Which explains all the explosions so suddenly after the ones that are "Innocent" appear)

I'm pretty sure that Innocent zombies are Volatile zombies are completely unrelated spawns, they just happen to spawn at practically the same time. Beepuke 04:30, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Can someone verify these since it gets extremely laggy for me to check what I'm hitting, especially during the waves between Midnight ~ 6 AM In-Game... ~ Lt. Jessie

Something useful to note is that the Volatile zombies don't have to reach 0 hp in order to explode. That is, you can lure them away with ice and sometimes they'll charge a skill, which is the explosion skill. It's helpful to the WMing defenders at the door lol. That way they don't all end up being wiped out. Beepuke 04:30, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

You could also push them away with firebolt/magnum shot (or smash if you're suicidal). Counter might also work. ~ Maxurion

Glitched Event

Recently in Mari Server, known in at least channels 2 and 4, the event is massively glitched.

During a regular spawn, at 6 AM, the Kid Zombies and Volatile Zombies still continued to spawn in the south gate. Only some people got to get their items in time before it was destroyed. Then for the next spawn, the camp did not respawn, and the flag had to be protected without the fort walls. Needless to say, we lost at 1 AM. This apparently is going on in other servers as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Redemption2 (talkcontribs) . Glitched event items

Alright, here's my story: Username: PRIC3 Server: Ruairi I helped defend the Zombie Attack base, got the 100 points for helping and went to get my item from Alexina. Once I talked to Alexina, I asked to trade points. I told her to exchange, and as soon as I did, my game FROZE. Not crashed, but FROZE. I tried to log back in, but the game would freeze up again. I tried around 2~3 more times; I made it into my user account and tried to log back onto the same character, the same result was produced. The only way I could close Mabinogi (Alt+F4 and clicking he X button didn't work) was to end the Client.exe. When I had my Task manager prompt up, I noticed when I tried to log into he world, Client.exe would take up no CPU space (Knowing from previous experience that it usually spikes the CPU at this point.) The Client basically dies wen I try to log into PRIC3. I tried logging onto my other characters, and logged in just perfectly. What, may I ask, is going on?--Price 07:33, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Nevermind, mods are going to be the death of me it seems.--Price 07:41, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Fail Pric3. Delete your data folder. LOL. (No. Seriously. That's why.) --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:46, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, thanks Ikki. I'll try it once the maintenance is over. --Price 09:09, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
