A Troll looks like a dryed up rasin version of a giant Goblin. So shouldn't he put under Goblin? -Hawk400206 03:13, 12 June 2008 (PDT)
- No. A troll is a troll. A goblin is a goblin. Fifty 22:13, 11 June 2008 (PDT)
Serously look at the difrnce. Prety much simler inough 2 be related.
Fifty said it best. Just because they look the same doesn't they are. If you want to argue the point of appearance than you should look at the animation. --Khenta 05:24, 13 June 2008 (PDT)
Goblins are basically green people. You don't see them in the Human section--Kingman186 15:59, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
i observe bugbears to have 37 prot instead of 32 given a max damage of 298 at the time, i consistently observed a maximum of 453 damage given to bugbears with wm and 1157 damage with a critical wm bugbear def is taken to be correct at 25 def
wm gross damage = 298 * 2.5 = 745 crit wm gross = 298 * 6.25 = 1862.5 where bugbear prot = 32% (745 - 25) * (1 - .32) = 489.6 wm (1862.5 - 25) * (1 - .32) = 1249.5 crit wm
^this is inconsistent with observed maximums
where bugbear prot = 37% (745 - 25) * (1 - .37) = 453.6 wm (1862.5 - 25) * (1 - .37) = 1157.625 crit wm
that bugbears have 37% prot is consistent with observed maximum damage rates

I have noticed that the troll in reginhalt is so slow that I can kill it simply by counter-spamming, and I had rank f counter when I first discovered that.
- I noticed the opposite, it could run me down very easily, i couldn't use counter at all. Neouu84
Snow Troll
There is two types of snow trolls. One in New King's Request and other one in Conquest of Fortinbras. One at Conquest of Fortinbras is noticibly bigger and have way more hp than one in New King's Request. Can someone add that? --Fallenone 23:49, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Really? If I knew about this ages ago I'd run more theater missions on basic with my Elf and it's extremely high luck stat.
Someone should add actual strategies for killing the Giant Snow Troll in the "Notes/Advice" section, don't you think?
I don't really know how to write a strategy or anything along the lines, but Water Cannon -> Water Cannon -> Wind Blast seems to work for me, followed by a repeated Water Cannon -> Wind Blast. The very first Water Cannon being right in front of the Giant.
Trans seems to be essential for that fight, the guy you escort doesn't fight at all, despite being able to kill the troll in 3 hits, and attacks seem to do so little to the troll.
I was referring to the Theatre Mission Giant Snow Troll outside of generations. Aren't generation monsters weaker in generation quests?
I was talking about the G13 one, supposedly you're supposed to let the NPC stab it to death, but like I said, he won't because of a bug.--Kingman186 11:59, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
I tried removing the future content tag, but I accidentally removed the snow troll and giant snow troll pages. I reverted, but someone who can do it safely needs to do that.
Im noticing that this is on the Talk: Troll page. I lolz at that.
