Talk:Shaved Ice Event (2009)

From Mabinogi World Wiki

Strawberry is a yes, i've used it ---Beatiford

I got BnR from Orange Shaved Ice. Is it random or do you get an item based on what type of shaved ice you give her? Also. Gordon talks about Watermelons, but I have no idea where to get them! Got Curry and Rice from Lemon Shaved Ice.

EDIT: Got BnR from Strawberries. I think it's random. - Karoz 23:14, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

and strawberry are technically not a fruit --Hengsheng120 05:56, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

There is a rumor on the forums about watermelons coming from an event that was released the same time as this one on another server. Known as the "Watermelon Cracking" event. Watermelons spawn on beaches and you crack them for rare items inside. Though, it has also been noted that some of these rare items have already be released on the NA server. (These items including the DevCat Earmuffs) So Nexon may not of added this event. Meaning no Watermelons.

As of now no word of the watermelons showing in the spots from the event on the other server.

Someone removed the "Fruits & Berries you can't use:" section earlier, but this section should remain at least until the event has ended. That way people don't waste time gathering things to test that other people have already tested. Karoz 05:58, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

I removed it, because there are only 4 fruits you can use.
Watermelon
Lemon
Strawberry
and Orange
How I know this? XML. --Kevin Talk«) 19:52, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

You "know it", so what? Does that mean everyone knows it? No. Someone might come to this wiki and decide to try out some other fruits and berries and waste time collecting them. This is to help the players so they don't waste time, if you remove it they might think they are trying something no one else has tried yet. KEEP IT until the event ends. I think he means he knows it cause he looked at the XML files.--Demaetri 20:28, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
