Can we put somewhere that if you go fishing in this area, you have a chance of catching a mob of angry River Sahagin...? For should we put this on the fished items list? This has happened TWICE to me already... x.x;;;
They don't appreciate you distrubing their habitat :p
All jokes aside, I added that the moment my friend next to me fished a mob. I was afk and came back to a spamfest of messages saying "never fish here again"
You basically fish them out. If you catch them, your fishing skill cancels and a warning bar appears at the bottom, similar to the commerce warning bar.
If you fish out a monster, do they disappear eventually or do you HAVE to kill them to make it go away?
They'll disappear eventually, but it's easier to just change channels when they spawn in order to avoid them entirely. There's no penalty for doing so.
So people can put up some sort of image recognition when the phrase appears to automate a cc? LOL...
It just says Monsters Appear out of the River, or something similar to that. Besides, it spawns right behind you, numbering from a small group of 2 up to a large group of 7. So... I don't see how hard it is to see the puffs of smoke from the spawn. Besides, you stop fishing automatically if a mob is fished up.
I've seen the CP values.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, THERE IS NO QUEST THAT INVOLVES FIGHTING THEM!!
If you have right tactics, you can kill them one-by-one.
For example, those crystal golems are pretty easy to predict o.o
Ok, just out of curiosity to compare which places are stronger, is this place stronger than Peaca Norm, and Metus? Or its a little safer than that
Peaca mobs definitely have more def and prot, while having similar amount of hp. I would say the golems and giant ornata spiders are stronger than peaca mobs, but definitely not mobs like wild gray wolves or poisonous snakes. And there aren't many mobs that use intermediate magic, except for cave sahagin mage. And their thunder often only does one strike, since they don't have chain casting, and does less than 200 often. Honestly, if I were given a choice to fight a cave sahagin mage or a ghost, I would choose the sahagin.
And now you see why I said this is a very opinionated question. There is no absolute answer. Everything is based on one's point of view. You can't have another person decide it for you.
My bad, forgot to ask how strong just based on one's individual opinion, my previous question was a bit too vague
The monsters in this area all usually have up to level 1 passives, making them able to be killed more easily.
In Peaca, you are talking about constant Level 2~3 passives and enemies that outnumbers you in a locked room.
I'd say Peaca monsters are technically harder because it's a dungeon.
When I fight those crystal golems, I noticed that it DOESN'T have heavy stander, as I keep smashing and windmilling them but they NEVER activate!
So the 'guess' on the passives or skills could be wrong or nerfed.
I spent a hour or two fighting Cave Sahagins and the only ones with passives for melee are the Rangers, the fighters don't or may not have pinged. The Sahagin Warrior and Mage types do not have any passives at all.
The Trolls (Wild + Sea) don't seem to have heavy stander, at least when I fought them with a friend, I never noticed it activating when we used fighter skills with smash and windmill.
That all of the mobs here have another posting in this specific page. Quite bothersome to go through "wasp" and "wolf" and "sahagin" to reach every single mob here.

Was this actually the result of the Soul Stream? Because the Golems went poof in the cutscene during the finale.
This is speculation but it's also possible it's because of Tory Ravine. A few times through G15 they mention how Admiral Owen restricted access to Tory Ravine without a publicly announced reason and it is also known that Tory Ravine is based on Tory Island, the home of Balor in Celtic Mythology. Also, if you look at the streams in Beach of Scathach, you notice that the ominousness is coming out of the direction of Tory Ravine, not the ocean. Although, if we ever see Balor ingame, it would probably be in a flashback or some revival since Lugh, Balor's grandson, kills him and Lugh is obviously dead.
There was a legend that Balor's grandchild would be the one to kill him, so he locked his daughter up in a tower and did not allow any men to come anywhere near her. Obviously, she somehow did and had triplets. Balor killed two of them and the survivor, Lugh, killed Balor as an adult.
I looked through a video and in All-consuming Darkness, if you pick "Destruction of Paradise", Cichol claims Scathach Beach's ominous event was created by the Soul Stream.
