Knockdown
The only time the sprite is knocked off my back is when I'm killed. Does wearing a shield decrease the chances of it getting knocked off? And it is impossible for it to get hurt while mounted, right? Nandattebayo 03:12, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I get knocked down and back without holding a shield and my sprite hangs on until i die, then it's released from my back. I sorta remember getting hit mutiple times by mutiple mobs in a row and my sprite was knocked off my character, though i'm not 100% sure of this. --Bryanneo 15:06, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- I can confirm that it can get knocked off when you get knocked back a few times. Gonan need to be tested to tell exactly when, but it is possible. Happens to me a lot, actually when I am doing shadow missions. --Haven923 18:33, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Integrate Updates | 0 | 05:18, 20 July 2020 |
Haven't fully tested, but now that the pet perk 'Blue Shield' is activated via companionship (as opposed to its specific criteria beforehand requiring mana pots), I've been using it again.
Note that all of the following include when the pet's mana shield is or isn't active, all while integrated, and all with me not using a mana shield. Couple of interesting notes; the Sprite will be damaged equally on attacks to it (calculated separately and via prot/def I think; I took a 98 from a crit smash from Elite Shadow Warrior, but it only took 1, with me having 134/7 def/prot, and it having 254/225)
It won't be knocked off, even on a full knockdown bar (I believe during the knockdown update this was changed, despite what the page says). It will play a li'l animation of it being knocked back/off, but when you move around/attack again it is re-integrated. Additionally, when entering the town barrier in Defeat the Shadow Commander II, you don't get un-integrated (I believe you are generally unmounted like in dungeons when entering the boss room?)
Overall, really enjoying my AutoDef again (named for using Divine Link's pet stun resistance) :)
