Kizuurei08:59, 22 June 2012

I think so, yeah....it looks nicer though!

Weapon Type

Since this is a weapon as well as a tool, I was wondering if it would count as a 2-handed sword. Does it receive the smash damage bonus? Can it be considered "one of the 2h weapons that can be wielded by elves?"

The animations for the attacks are definitely 2h animations, including smash. The final damage range is also similar to a 2h sword...

Kirbysama21:23, 19 March 2012

It's already stated a few times in the wiki as a 2-hander for elves. However, the smash 2-hander boost isn't limited to swords. It counts towards all 2-handers, including things such as staves and knuckles. As for it actually being boosted by Sword Mastery, I don't know.

boosted by blunt, not sword o.o

Mikaya22:40, 19 March 2012

it's boosted by blunt mastery, yes.

Kirbysama14:15, 20 March 2012

But the category it is boosted by doesn't say anything about the weapon type... Axes boosted by Axe Mastery, but considered Blunts. Accidental doublepost.

Kirbysama14:17, 20 March 2012

Ya, it kind of does...

From my experience, fishing rods are a sort of blunt object used to strike people with when you outfish them...god I love my camping friends @@;;

Changing Colors

The middle portion of the rod seems to change colors everyday... Some trivia? :p

Deletion15:43, 26 January 2012

Maybe it's like the Fishing Contest Fishing Rod?

Mikaya17:50, 26 January 2012

Yeah, I tested it out, and it DOES change color according to previously equipped weapon. ...Although, some colors don't work... o_o

Storage[edit]

Can this item be stored in pets or banks?

Leyuu13:14, 28 August 2011

It can be stored in pets, which means it probably can be stored in the bank too.

But to answer the question fully, Yes. It can be stored in the bank.

So... only Effie does upgrades? Because when I went to Ferghus, there was an upgrade slot hidden, so I wasn't sure if that blacksmiths can do gem upgrades or Artisan ones as well?
