Rebirthing

Do Shield Skills transfer to other pets? Like the bolt skills and counter, would shield skills be usable by other pets? Not that anyone would want to replace that sexy inventory size or the ability to travel on Ballons/Rafts, but one has to wonder.--Price 09:00, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Would it be more interesting to try rebirthing the other way, getting pets with more interesting skills on that one, super awesome Imp rafter go? --Rais 05:38, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

Skills and their ranks will transfer, but if the pet cannot use it, the skill will be disabled until the pet is rebirthed into the proper pet that can use the skill. And yes, rebirthing the Imp into other pets is necessary for an imp to have a high mana/hp stats as well as skill based stat gains. Just be aware that if the imp can not use the skill, it will be disabled. For example, Spider pets cannot use magic shields. They will have the skill, but cannot use it. Likewise, a spider rebirthing to an imp will not make the new imp pet produce cobwebs. --Mikaya 05:44, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
