Talk:Jousting
Cannot Joust At This Time
I know you are saying, "Duh," but I visited Tara (mod-free, so don't shun me) and went to the jousting arena. I had one other person in my party and with me on the platform as I talked to the NPC. Since I can't read ◘◘◘ ◘◘◘◘◘◘ ◘◘, I tried out every combination of buttons that you can click on when talking to her and didn't end up in a draft. Unfortunately, it appears that Jousting still needs to unlocked by Nexon. Same with the fashion show action. --Haven923 14:51, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Possibly because we can't offically go into Tara at this time? >.> --Bryanneo 14:34, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
NPC Jousting
Yeah, jousting currently doesn't work. Even the V.S NPC jousting doesn't work yet. On other servers you can joust various Human/Elf/Giant NPCs. --Claypot19
W vs. S?
When one person chooses S and the other chooses W, who wins? Or is it a tie? Nandattebayo 21:06, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- Its a tie ~kotarou3 TALKCONTRIBS 09:05, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- It's a tie, but the person using W seems to take more damage.--~Dæmonis(´∀`) 02:09, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- When it's a human and it used A before W does more damage than S.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 04:25, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

Gladiator Title
I have jousted 30 times vs NPCs and won, but not obtained the title. Can anyone give a more detailed explanation of how to get it? Requirements on wins? During tournaments? VS. real players? Is the number wrong? I need to know everything. --Voichi 02:18, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- Must win 30 times against players during preliminaries or tournaments I believe. We'll see that in a month or so >> --Melodious 02:55, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Jousting points?
How do you obtain the Jousting points needed to get items from the shop Lileas has? Perhaps this should be added to the text somewhere? --Aussie711 10:14, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- Win in preliminaries : 3 points
- Lose in preliminaries : 1 point
- 1st place Finals : 96 points
- 2nd place Finals : 42 points
- Win in Finals : 9 points
- Lose in Finals : 3 points
- Found some new points on that little sign I never noticed --Melodious 00:28, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Jousting Shop
Should there not be a section about the items in the shop redeemable with Jousting points? --Zaros 17:37, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'd like to know where we redeem our points :| --Marthian 02:49, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- Talk to Lileas and click shop (right beside jousting tournament button), though all the items are things you can normally get at regular shops.
- Thanks for telling me, and at any rate these items you CANNOT get these items at other stores (not with the uber stats anyways). I mean the weapons you'd have to ego those same weapons to get similar stats and the ammo isn't available in stores... As for the Armor, the leminia, spaika, and rose armor don't originally have passive defenses and they usually start out with 6/2 defense/protection. The dagger, eh :|.--Marthian 16:06, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
KisaiTenshi 00:13, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Do the points expire each week? Also im trying to find out info on the Armors (if they r upgradable etc) to add them to the wiki:|--Prjosh 20:03, 19 Jun 2010 (UTC)
- No they accumulate --Melodious 14:20, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Sunday Tournament
The registration doesn't seem to work on 6:30pm PST or 6:50pm PST, or at all. Is there a specific channel/time/thing that is missing? I got my tournament pass and everything. Did nexon screw up somewhere (again)? --Dias 01:40, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- I heard that the files weren't in place. Looks like Nexon's going to fix it with a maintenance later tonight. --Aramet (Talk) 02:15, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
Jousting Tournament Finals
Are they unimplemented, or just broken? Jessha 02:01, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

If you have any damage related questions about jousting. I placed a section giving full details about all aspects of damage. It was removed though. The reason given being no proof offered or anyone to second the information. I got my information by recording, literally, thousands and thousands of jousting matches and performing statistical analysis on it. So I'm confident in my results. Anyway, if you have any questions, the information lives on in the history, so just click on the history and look for my name. The content was added in August of 2014. Happy jousting everyone.
Board/Lileas says there is a prelim at 10, but no registration is available?
Ok, but can we keep it off until it's actually implemented? We really don't need it there to confuse people at the moment.
-Hot Spring, check.
-Jousting Rewards, check.
-Fashion Show, check.
Rafting was definitely not renewed, not sure about Banquet, Family, or Auctions.
Banquet wasn't. Not sure of family since I'm not in one. Auction doesn't seem like it looking over the last couple days of auction items.
I have a feeling we'll get them eventually but not at this time. Think it best to just stick with what has been implemented versus what was intended to be implemented.
If you perform your race specific combo and the end results in a tie, will your critical hit deal more damage than the enemies? or will it still be equal damage.
I got on the receiving end of one of these, and it's definitely still deals extra damage.
So a friend and I were testing out the exact damages of various jousting moves, and I want someone to verify our discoveries. In the meantime, I'll keep working on the error margins.
- It takes 5 successful 'A' hits to kill the other person(( we were alternating doing A damage to eachother, and one of us usually had a little more hp than the other after the 4th hit (except for once when one of us survived with a tiny bit of hp after the 5th hit and killed the other one, see below for possible explanation)))
- It takes 3 W or S to deplete a full hp bar
- Takes 2 successful D hits
- Tying on a hit halves the normal damage of that hit. (needs to be further tested)
- Giant combo attack activates regardless of whether the W attack was successful
- There is a variable amount of damage approximately +/-15 pixels (out of a baseline 475 pixel long hp bar) that is applied to each hit. Differences stack and can determine the end winner ((Tested with successive successful A hits. Out of 475 pixels, did anywhere from 85 to 105 pixels of damage. )
