Talk:Fragmentation List

From Mabinogi World Wiki

Add?

Ey, since this skill is nearly released in NA, maybe you want to move this to the Fragmentation List page. Someone had already made one, but I like yours better. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:12, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Cheap Silk

Is the chart right? As you rank up the success rate goes down? Dias 00:24, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

That is what the data file reads, it's probably because the odds of making Cheap Silk (instead of Common/Fine/Finest) go down as you rank Weaving. Definitely an odd result, though. --Duet 03:29, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Poison Potion

It is able to be Fragmented into water, a base herb, and a poison herb, but after the animation for fragmentation, the potion is still in your inventory and nothing happens. May want to add to the list, I would but idk how to. --Saix7 06:06, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

  • I noticed the same thing happen with Common Silk... it was because my frag rank wasn't sufficient :D--Kong 21:45, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Blacksmith Fragmentation List.

Looking at dissolution.xml and matching the IDs with that found in itemdb.xml
I was able to find a list of items that can be fragmented.

If someone wants to, they can double check to make sure and confirm this list.
I do not have the resources to make sure these are correct.

Judging by what you said, and what the list says, i'd say basically anything that can be crafted can be framgented--Dtdsora- no page as of yet- u can make it urself 19:34, 4 February 2011 (PST)

Skill for potion fragmentation

The 100 size potions cannot be fragmented at Novice, I have tried and it gives me a 0% and "In order to fragmentize Stamina 100 Potion, your Fragmentation skill rank needs to be higher". This applies to HP and MP as well, and the 'HP MP 50 Potion'.

Also, I have a 35% success on Stamina 50, however I cannot be sure if this is the base or with rain included, the rain is buggy on me and does not always apply its effects to my success %. I have no mastery, and this is on a Wednesday.

Minimum fragmentation results.

For all the items that frag into Purified Enhancer, the game actually lists a minimum result (like "64639/3-5") instead of just a max like in the other categories (like "62066 /3") because this game needs to be renamed Inconsistenogi or something.

Why are a bunch of the new crafting materials listed under Carpentry?

DarkYuan (talk)04:04, 7 October 2016

Couldn't think of an existing section to put them into.

The item they all fragment into, Purified Enhancer, has the sole purpose of being used in Carpentry to create Special Firewood.
So I just named the section Carpentry to reflect that.

Not too important, sort of like how the G20 materials listed under "Magic Craft" are actually used in both that and Engineering, and aren't actually themselves made from either of them.

If the section's name seems misleading, I guess it could just be made more unique, like "Dungeon Revamp Materials" or something.

Iyasenu (talk)15:35, 7 October 2016

Fair enough. But I'll let someone higher up in the Wiki organization decide on a new name if so.

DarkYuan (talk)16:07, 8 October 2016

Oh, of course. It was just a placeholder.

Iyasenu (talk)07:27, 10 October 2016

The game lists those recipes as being "MagicCraft" still, but since they only produce a single material with a single use in Carpentry (as previously pointed out), I agree with the labeling since the labeling seems intended to communicate purpose of the result.

If Purified Enhancer gets other recipes added to the game later that actually do fall under the Magic Craft skill then it may need to be changed, for now I'm just leaving this as a note of what the game thinks of the recipes.
