I never really noticed until now, though that there's a giant/elf team.

Didn't do a lot of these when it came out, see. But I reacted after the Saga update where they made peace with each other.

Yea, they were always united which was surprising. They had a team name "The Elf Giant Union" and it even had their own Emblem. The Emblem is still there but at some point, they renamed the team for some reason.

They made peace back in G9, at least for the ones that migrated to Uladh.

I think it's more of a hostile ceasefire, like the cold war between the US and USSR. They weren't exactly at peace nor at war, but they didn't trust eachother either and were still in competition.

Has anyone even found out an NPC has Charge?

I'm pretty sure enemy skills can be found in the game files...

Even if they have charge, do they use it? And the xml may not be accurate. remember, it's all server sided.

Kevin is right, monsters don't always use the skills they have. Evident with Cyclops and Windmill.

I could have sworn Wakoba had charge... Unfortunately, it was super effective :D....I died with a critical hit of some kind...either way I saw charge's smoke trail somewhere on the NPC side.

I've done this full tourney well over one hundred times now, and there's a few things on the main page incorrect:

- Barrier Spikes Crystal x5 - Blizzard Crystal x5 - Cloud Crystal x5 - Shock Crystal x5

None of those drop. Ever.

Rounds 1 and 2: Stone Golem Crystal x5

3-6: Forest Golem Crystal x5

7-9: Sulfur Golem Crystal x5

(Not incorrect, but that's the rounds that drop them.)

I've gotten multiple of each enchant listed besides Sun and Frenzy -- not saying they're not there, but if they are they're quite rare. (I've gotten almost every NPC drop at least once now, except the Bodywear and a few others, so it'd be weird to get so many npc items but none of either of those.)

I don't know if it's worth mentioning here either, but using rank 1 Rain Casting will fix Pleta when she bugs from spamming teleport and otherwise cannot be hit.

It might be nice to note somewhere in case one is at the boss and ends up having to exit without knowing you cannot unglitch her. Same for Assault Slash -- it has a (small) chance to bug the NPC's.

Frenzy was added by Midnightlust and we can't see the edit history for the rewards list because it is deleted.

If there's no way to confirm it currently, wouldn't it make sense to remove it until it can be confirmed?

I'm trying to put together all the info about the npc teams such as each person's role on their team, what passive defenses they have, and what special skills they use. I didn't know where to put it so it's on my userpage for now. Feel free to edit it and/or move it to somewhere more appropriate.

Yeah, but it's not very well formatted, and I'm not sure what its purpose is. It just has a bunch of random (and sometimes obvious) information.

If you want to, you can move everything you have to that sub section, deleting the current text on that page.

I got wiped out on the 6th or 7th round. I heard there are 8. Would make more sense if it's 9 since there's 9 teams. Can anyone confirm?

Also, there are a few NPCs in there that, like Bran and the Grim Reaper, are immune to Ice Spear. Halfway through our rounds, I was put on Ice Spear duty to keep as many people as I could frozen in a corner but some people couldn't be targeted. The ones I noticed were Stewart and Edern.

There are 9 rounds, 9th one being the boss. Finishing boss gives you journal points (50 points) and I think if you beat certain town in semi-finals (7th or 8th? don't remember) you get 30 points for each respective town.

Yeah I found out by now. I've been in the Boss Round haha. Also I didn't notice the journal entry, but you're right. It's the 8th round because the only 8th round I've beaten (and gotten to boss round with) was Bangor and I have the journal achievement "Destroy Bangor Signboard"

Did anyone notice that he has a Tortoise Shell Shield? o-o

Is it really a Caladbolg? People said it was a sword (to me it looked like a Battle) with a Special Upgrade.

I'm in the Boss round atm, and I can confirm its the Caladbolg.

Does the Lightning Strike effect from his blade work though?

Yes, his Caladbolg activates the Lightning Strike

We need to add what skills each NPC uses in this tournament and their AI behavior, etc.

Maybe make a new page or subpage for that. Monster templates won't work because the NPCs have many skills that are not on it and they have no other need to be on it (i.e. it would bloat the template further to add those skills).

Anyone have ideas on how best to do this?

There is a Team for Iria that consists of NPCs from quilla , Cor, and Zardine.

There is? The only video of the Tourny says didn't show that.

Confirmed, there's a human Iria team that mixes Qillia, Cor and Zardine together. I only remember seeing Nicca, Ethna, Waboka and Kusina (?!), can't remember the rest.

There is also a Tara team, and boy do they hurt.

• Lileas (Lance Charge + Lance Counter)

I forget the other two, but I know for sure those 4 have appeared. Plus, the order doesn't always start at Tir.

I've noticed that as you go through the rounds, the HP/Damage/Def/Prot stats of the opponents steadily increase, but I can't tell by how much.

I only did it twice, my whole party got easily wiped by Tir. Therefore I can't really do much sightseeing there.

Erm, Team Boss is always, last, am I correct?

There's icons for Team Tara and Team Irian Human Union in the data I uploaded a while ago to the wiki.

Consistency like the other Theatre Missions and Shadow Missions, this isn't one giant mission, you know.

Because its 7 different Shadow Missions?
I'd say keep it as one, because it's generally the same task but just different spawns.
