So I heard from 2 friends that the things you get with the coupons don't stay and you need to use another coupon to get it again if you ever change your look to something else. Can anyone confirm this?

The coupons are one time use, you can't save any of the looks, if you change your appearance you need to reobtain the coupon. SuchIsLife.png

If you read the forums, same thing.
