Talk:Elven Glove
Why is this page titled "Elven Glove"? The in-game name is clearly "Alvin Glove," it seems silly to have the proper name in-game redirect to what seems to be an alternate translation from Japanese. --Inemnitable 10:24, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

- Because the in-game name changed to "Elven Glove" or so I heard. And Korean, not Japanese.--Mystickskye 12:07, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yes it got changed to Elven Glove in the latest patch. Check Simon's store or your inventory. Fifty 14:24, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- So it did; that's... strange, Nexon doesn't usually fix their alternate/mistranslations. I say Japanese because it seems that エルヴぇン could easily be interpreted as either 'Alvin' or 'Elven'. Though in this case I would actually agree that 'Elven' is probably better. I don't know any Korean, and it didn't seem unfathomable that they could actually be translating from the Japanese version.
- I was more referring to that the content originates in Korea (unless the Elven Glove was a JP original). As an aside, they've been quite good about fixing translations recently. White->Wight, Demi Rich->Demi Lich and so forth. They fixed the whole "Persimmon" issue quickly too.--Mystickskye 14:27, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
