it's fire element, right?

If it's fire element, then wearing 9 fire equips can reduce damage you take from it to 1, but i'm not sure it's fire element. It looks and works just like regular fireball, but it's not the same skill, so it might not actually be fire element. can someone please confirm?--Sozen Cratos Focker 05:05, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

• I'm not sure. Due to using a bow, I was reduced to 8 fire elementals, and Cromm blasted me for about 2K. If I go on G3 Final again with someone, I'll go full fire and try to convince him to use fireball.
  • Ok, absolutely conclusive: Dragon Fireball is NOT 100% fire element. I had all 9, used fire shield- and got blasted for 2K.

Barrier Spikes effective?

If it works like fireball, even if it's a god-like damaging giant ball of flame,it can possibly be blocked with barrier spikes.... I'm not 100% sure on this, and technically the only way to test this is on cromm cruiach.--Pyroblade 00:04, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Barrier spikes counts as a wall or other obstacle. AoE damage cannot piece obstacles. Only skills with AoE that ignores obstacles can ignore a barrier spike. Dragon Fireball would be blocked by a barrier spike if you could actualy place one. Tellos 00:39, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Would it work?

Fire Shield cannot reduce Dragon Fireball Damage.(If not, Fire Shield might?? reduce damage taken to a minuscule amount???? <-- I highly doubt Fire Shield even reduces Dragon Fireball damage though )
