  • Tried again at level 10 and this time got Alby Basic. However, between 9 and 10 I picked up Windmill for the first time; I half-suspect that it could be that I have all the skills. Needs further testing.--Honiberri 16:07, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
    • I think this is false. Who said you cant enter Alby Beginner at a certain level? I mean i'm lvl 42 and i can still enter Alby Beginner. ~ Shadowboy132
      • I have reason to believe there is at least some truth in the statement. Although it lets me drop beginner passes, the dungeon I encounter is not the beginner. The boss is that of normal, and the enemies are in general stronger, although still one wave per room. Level 31. -Doomsday 16:40, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
        • Depends on the total level on the party I presume. Tried going into an Alby beginner with a friend. Got Alby Normal... Then he soloed a pass and he got beginner.--Aubog007 15:11, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

New Format

I like how you've got the Intermediate Dungeons split up. However, I'm not fond of the new Rewards section format. It seems a bit long and not a simple list, now. I like the old way for them much more. Other opinions? ---Angevon 20:13, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Alby Adv

Added links to Alby Adv monsters. It needs some work, though. List is probably incomplete; is not sure of the existence of 'Spider Archer', only did Adv-1 so far. --Fruitrecruit

I think you may have gotten the colors wrong on the grendal and maybe even the beetle wolf. I'll run it again later to confirm this. ~Quiversee

Added Alby Advanced for Four. I ran it last night. I added all of the monster spawns that we encountered. It's obviously not complete and will need some touch up as more of us encounter this dungeon. The odd part is where the pass was dropped- an Alby Normal end chest. --Jspillers

I'm not looking to start any arguments, but I checked through some client files (itemdb and dungeondb) and I don't see anything relating to an Alby Adv 4. No pass, no dungeon info. I've checked the most recent NA and JP itemdb and dungeondb. --Berkt 21:53, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

I'm an idiot. I was looking at Alby Intermediate for Four's pass. You are right, Berkt. The pass for Adv. for 4 does not exist in the client files. Thus, the dungeon itself doesn't exist. Going to remove. ---Angevon 23:36, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Fountains

I was under the impression that fountains are only found in Ciar. But going through Alby basic, I stumbled upon a fountain. Is this normal?

Alby normal actually has fountains too on a rare basis--Aubog007 15:06, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Auto Beginner?

i went go as a low level elf without a pass and i got into Alby beginner.

To add to this, I went in with a level 7 Human (dropped a 10HP pot on the altar) and also got Alby Beginner. With the above topic of beginner not being accessible for higher level chars it looks like this dungeon has scaling both ways.--Mystickskye 09:31, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Tested, regardless of what you drop (did not test Basic+ passes) below level 10, you cannot enter anything but an Alby Beginner. --Aeteryn 02:54, 14 January 2011 (PST)

Regarding Cobweb Mummies

After a few runs of alby adv, Ive seen that the mummies only spawn on the first floor in the last chest room. Should that make them a miniboss? Id edit it now but I want to make sure of this.

It's true that they always spawn in the last room of the first floor, but I've also gotten them in orb rooms on rare occasions so I don't think so...--Deretto 05:45, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Yarn Keys in Adv 1

It should be noted that Yarn Keys can be weaved from 5 Silk Cocoons with the spinning wheels found in the boss room. The cocoons are dropped by larvae. They yarn keys are used to open the 8 end chests after the boss (1 key is used per chest. You also get 1 key for defeating Arachne) --Deretto 05:48, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Alby Arena Troll?

i read from one in game book sold by Trefer that said a Troll spawns in alby arena. during my 7 generations of playing Mabinogi i have yet to see the troll. has anyone seen it? --ACE1337 22:59, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

I've been running Alby Basic several times to test if the giant red spider will drop AR8. So I'll add some of the data I've collected below.

• Total number of runs: 35
• Total number of AR8 drops: 0 (drop rate 95 % CI: 0.00 - 10.00 %)
• Total number of [Secrets to Healthy Living] drops: 5 (drop rate 95 % CI: 4.81 - 30.26 %)

I may be wrong but. When I ran Alby int for four. I ran it four times and the miniboss never came up in the dungeon. Has some bug or update stop the Giant white spiders from spawning? Can someone please find out. I only play on Alexina.

Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not.

Same with the Giant Red Spider.

I was running it yesterday and it appeared o.o; maybe it's not a 100% appearance or they changed the dungeon. o-o;?

I've ran it a lot of times, sometimes no White Spider, sometimes no Red Spider. Its one of the few dungeons that won't guarantee the miniboss' appearance.

I ran the alby portion of G13 with a char that was less that TL 100 (So that means beginner right?) But the End chest dropped a Fighter Light Leather mail, Should this be counted as a completely differant level of Alby?
