Ski Racing Slalom Event (2011)

Description

Race through flags to win a prize! If you finish in less than 50 seconds you win yourself a warm Sheep Robe.

Be careful though! Every missed flag will add time to your final score.^[1]

This event is part of the Mabinogi Winter Olympics.
The skiing hill is southwest of Vales, just north of the "h" in Sella Beach, and is marked by a quest beacon at your first visit.
To receive the Sheep Robe, you must reach the goal in 52.00 seconds or under. It will be automatically placed in your inventory, or in a Temporary Inventory until moved.
- If both your inventory and Temporary Inventory are full, you will not receive the Sheep Robe.
You must ski through the posted flags. If you miss a flag, 3 seconds will be added to your score at the end.
Controls: W,A,S,D keys and the spacebar.
- W makes you ski faster
- A turns you left
- S slows you down
- D turns you right
- To perform a power slide, press the spacebar.
You will not be distributed a second Sheep Robe if you possess one in your inventory. You must store it somewhere else or get rid of it.
Tip: Instead of walking up the hill to try again, you can hit the sign at the bottom of the hill to teleport you to the starting point.
Tip: Power Slide does not have to be used. If you time your turns right you can get to the end and still get a robe before 52 seconds.

Despite Nexon's post on this event, you will receive a Sheep Robe if you get under 52 seconds in this event.
