Description
The Royal Association of Artisans is a system that selects the best Artisans in the entire Kingdom of Aliech.
Details
Up to 80 Artisans of each type and 150 Royal Alchemists will be instated each week.- You can only hold one type of Royal Artisan or Royal Alchemist position.
- When applying for a different position in the Royal Institution, you must withdraw any active applications.
How to Become a Royal Institution Member
Players must speak with Sinead in Rath Royal Castle regarding Royal Institution matters. In order to apply, the player must meet certain criteria:
- Royal Blacksmith - Dan 3 Blacksmithing
- Royal Tailor - Dan 3 Tailoring
- Royal Enchanter - Rank 1 Enchanting
- Royal Alchemist - All Alchemy-related Skills Rank 1 (or Dan 3 where applicable)
Selection of all positions in the Royal Institution will be determined with Royal Points through the following criteria:
- Journal Score + Activity Points
- In cases of a tie in the above criteria, a Milletian’s Cumulative Level will be taken into account, as well as when they applied for the position.
- The following Journal Achievements are not included:
- Guild War Achievements
- Race Exclusive Transformation Achievements
- The Kingdom’s Finest
- Fashionable Diva
Application Process
The selection of Royal Alchemists and Artisans are appointed every Lughnasadh (Thursday) at 7:00 AM Server Time.
- The application deadline ends 10 minutes prior.
When applying for a position with the Royal Institution, you’ll be provided with a Royal Notebook. The Royal Notebook will allow you to:
- View your current Royal Points for the application process
- See who is currently a Royal Alchemist or Artisan
- Receive Royal Missions
Activity Points
- Activity Points are earned through Royal Missions via various difficulties: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
- After you’ve applied for a Royal Alchemist or Artisan, you can begin taking on Royal Missions to increase your Royal Point score.
- Acquiring Royal Missions (from Sinead or your Royal Notebook) will be logged in your quest log under the new “Royal Institution” tab.

To ensure a candidate of the Royal Institution is well-rounded in their proficiency, point caps have been placed on all levels of missions. Any points earned above the cap are ignored.
- Beginner - maximum of 600 points
- Intermediate - maximum of 300 points
- Advanced - maximum of 150 points
Withdrawing your application from a Royal Institute position will forfeit any Activity Points you’ve acquired for the week so far.
- Choosing to withdraw your application will allow you to retain your current position in the Royal Institution and apply for any other position.
- Choosing to withdraw altogether will remove your current position in the Royal Institution.
You will also be awarded Activity Points for being logged into Erinn.
- You will receive 2 points every 5 minutes you are online, for a daily total of 120 points.
- There is a weekly point cap of 450 points for being logged in.
- Additionally, those who partake in the Royal Banquet on Samhain will receive 5 points per minute during the banquet. You are still beholden to the daily and weekly cap.
