PvP Tournament (2011)

Basic Information

We are happy to announce the brackets for each server. The first two rounds will take place Monday through Friday in Channels 1 and 2 of each server. For specific times, please check out the matchups below. All following rounds will be held on Channel 1. Participants will be notified via email regarding which channel to which they should report. Make sure to check Junk and Bulk mail folders and add emails from nexon.net to your safe list.

Note: Due to recent server instability issues, the remaining matches for Tarlach and all participants on Alexina have been rescheduled. Tarlach and Alexina will have the first round completed on February 1st, at 4:00 pm Pacific for Tarlach, 5:00 pm Pacific for Alexina.

• Round 1 will be held on January 31^st for Mari and Ruairi and February 1^st for Tarlach and Alexina.
  

  The arena for the PvP Tournament 2011 is located in Emain Macha, east of the corn fields. Contestants will be fighting on water after being summoned by GMs.
• Round 2 will be held on February 2^nd
• Quarter Finals will be held on February 3^rd
• Semi Finals will be held on February 4^th
• Finals will be held on February 7^th

The time frame for the above schedule will be the same for each server

• Mari - 2:00 PM Pacific (5:00 PM Eastern)
• Ruairi - 3:00 PM Pacific (6:00 PM Eastern)
• Tarlach - 4:00 PM Pacific (7:00 PM Eastern)
• Alexina - 5:00 PM Pacific (8:00 PM Eastern)

Rules

• All matches will have a time limit of 10 minutes.
• 1st round: You are allowed to use potions; however you will not be able to use pets, awakenings, or transformations.
• All rounds thereafter: You are allowed to use potions, awakenings, and transformations. You will not be able to use pets.

Details

• A tournament pitting players against each other in elimination-style one-on-one PvP battles.
• Applicants were required to submit a support ticket to register between January 21^st, 2011 and January 27^th, 2011.
• The first two rounds will take place Monday through Friday in Channels 1 and 2 of each server.
• Spectators who wish to see the battles unfold, gather just east of the corn fields in Emain Macha.

The following rewards can be obtained:

• Full Recovery Potion (Obtained after participating in a duel regardless of outcome)
• Close Combat Skill 2x EXP Potion - 2nd and 3rd round losers
• Combat 2x EXP Potion (30 min.) - Semifinal losers
• Soldier Gachapon (2012) x5 - 2nd Place
• Champion Guild Robe - 1st Place
• After the Finals have been completed, the GMs will fight the winner. The prize for putting up a good fight or winning would be any Pre-G13 weapon or Glory Sword, Dragon Fang, and Trinity Staff in the color of their choosing (flashy colors excluded) However, some of the GMs have Infinite HP and or MP, and unlimited demigod transformation skills. Therefore, the fight is mostly moot, unless you get a GM without these benefits.
