Forum Questions

Q: Are we getting G14S3 or something or is this a general Q&A?

A: You can call this an Open Q&A session, ask whatever is on your mind, but please be mindful that we are limited to what we can answer.

Q: Journal Fixed? Yes or No?

A: Unfortunately we're still looking into the issue, We apologize that's it taking so long but we want to make sure that it is properly fixed.

Q: Are previous NPC outfits (Ex: Lileas suit, Andras wear, Ophelia costume, Hamlet costume, etc.) going to be released again?

A: If there's enough people interested, we would definitely make it available again.

Q: Are there any new premium wears coming soon?

A: Yes, you can expect one to be announced real soon.

Q: Are there any new pets coming soon?

A: Yes, we have several new pets lined up for release in the upcoming months.

Q: Is there gonna be an event where players can go back from Dark Knight to Paladin??

A: There's nothing in the works at the moment, but it's definitely something we'll be looking into.

Q: Will there be any Mabinogi event related to Dragon's nest CBT release (Dragon Pets *hint hint*)?

A: It's a possibility, you just have to wait and see

Q: How long is going to be between each update now that we're on the same Generation as Korea?

A: We should only be a month or 2 apart.

Q: May you ask to implement or get something in the works for characters to have "perks"? (Like those they have in games such as CoD: Black Ops but Mabinogi-fied)

A: If you have an idea/suggestion/feedback, please submit them to our CSR Team(Support/Feed Back)

Q: Will we ever get a Name change rebirth card if we dont like our name

A: There's nothing in the works for a "Name Change Rebirth Card"

Q: Will we be getting the G14 Fishing Event that was in Korea anytime soon?

A: The fishing event you're inquiring about will be released in NA sometime this year.

Q: Can we expect a Double Rainbow event in the near future?

A: It's definitely a possibility.

Q: Will there be Summer Premium cards coming out within the next month?

A: We know that character cards are very popular and we just don't want to release one just for the sake of releasing them, we want them to be popular and eye catching, but we hope you'll enjoy the ones coming out this summer.

Q: Are you going to fix the bugs not only from the recent patch (i.e. Charge glitch) but from past updates as well that have not yet been covered?

A: We're constantly addressing new and old issues to our developers; some get fixed right away while others take longer than usual.

Q: Will dungeons ever be touched upon again to make them fair as Shadow Missions?

A: There's nothing in the works, but we're always looking for ways to improve our game and if we feel that a Dungeon Renewal is necessary, there will be one.

Q: Do you guys ever plan on bringing back Adv. Play or any other types of premium service?

A: We do have something in the works for Premium Service.

Q: What is being done with the hack/moders, it seems like there is no actions being done against the people breaking the rules with hacks that change there fonts, allow multiple clients to be open and more recently unlocking the berserker skill. It's unfair that these select people get to hack the game with no penalties.

A: We're fully aware of these issues and even though we don't public announce them; actions/penalties as you put it, are definitely enforced. We hope to implement a hack prevention tool in the near future.

Q: Will NA Nexon ever release Trade-Unlock potions? (They are available in other servers and let you trade personalized items one time after applying them and are also known as de-personalization potions).

A: It's a great idea to have and we hope to have them sometime in the near future

Q: Are we ever getting usable beds for our houses? (In the housing channels)

A: It's a possibility; a bed would definitely create that Fantasy Life atmosphere.

Q: Rapier weapons? (Not just the Sword of Elsinore, but rapiers similar to Romeo's and Hamlet's?

A: there is currently something thats similar to the rapier weapons that will be released in the near future

Q: Pets not being allowed in Homesteads is very inconvenient. Will you ever change this?

A: If we find a legitimate reason to, then yes we would change it.

Q: Playing instruments has always been my favorite part of Mabinogi. Are you going to introduce any new instruments?

A: It's one my favorite parts too, and it's very disheartening when there's no information about new instruments being released.

Q: Have you considered adding drops or end exp to dungeons to balance them better with Shadow missions and Avon Missions?

A: Yes, we did several renewals in the past to balance out the Dungeons and Shadow missions but the revamp gets stale fast due to new content implementation. We're always looking for ways to improve game play, so keep a close eye out for changes in the near future.

Q: is there gonna be an end date for mabinogi where mabinogi wont be playable anymore i mean its a great game and most players dont want it to end so i was wondering about this.

A: There's no need to worry about uncertainties, Mabinogi won't go anywhere.

Q: any further generations we can look forward to in the future?

A: You can look forward to G14S3, G14S4 and if you must know the next Shakespeare chapter is in the works.

Q: Will Nexon ever have some sort of Tiered Spending reward, where spending at or above certain amounts of NX will be rewarded with select items?

A: A tier rewards system was mentioned a few times, but it wasn't anything too serious.

Q: Will the generations after G16 revert back to the main storyline of Mabinogi - the Goddesses, Gods, etc. or still continue as Shakespeare?

A: Reverting back to the main storyline would be most ideal, but we're going to have to wait to find out.

Q: Is Nexon Mabinogi staff going to hold more events similar to the Quiz Show event, where pets are obtainable via non-NX ways? I can't really buy NX often, and if I do, I basically can't buy much.

A: We will definitely have more events similar to the Quiz Show; as to what they are? You're just going to have to wait and find out.

Q: Currently, it's not possible to change the order of skills in your skill window if they aren't the ones at the top of the list numbered 1-9. Any changes you make revert upon starting a new game session. Are you aware of this bug and will it be fixed?

A: We'll look into this issue and report it to Korea if necessary.

Q: When can we expect so see a Fixed Metal Dye Gachapon?

A: Sooner than you think!

Q: Will you ever give Alexina more Channels?

A: Increasing the server count on Alexina was one of the options we suggested to reduce the latency with the server.

Q: Will you be bringing back daily freebies and Nao revivals with Premium Service? I will happily pay the extra a month if you do!

A: A new type of premium service is in the works.

Q: Will there be an elf update coming soon? There have been tons of updates and new weapons and content for humans and giants, but elves havnt had anything in a long time.

A: Elves are definitely due for a big update, there's currently nothing planned but we should see something real soon. (Hopefully!)

IRC Questions

Q: Will we ever be able to enter the houses on our homesteads? We can get this mansion, but we can't use it. I think it'd be nice to have chairs and a kitchen inside our house. :D

A: Its not intended for you to enter the House your Homestead, but everything else you can customize, but your idea will be noted. Thanks

Q: Any chance of the client ever receiving an overhaul? Code-wise, I mean. It seems like it could be optimized a ton.

A: Yes, we do need a client side change but we will have to discuss with Korea and see what we can do

Q: Will a system ever be implemented that will allow players who have disconnected to re-enter shadow mission/dungeons?

A: theres nothing in the works

Q: Is there any talk about there being another design contest, like the Internation Design Contest we had a while ago?

A: Yes, since the Design Contest was so popular we are planning to bring it back in the near future

Q: What are some of the options you guys have discussed to fix the latency in Alexina?

A: Nothing is finalized so we can really give out any information.

Q: I'm wondering if there are any plans to expand on the types of weapons available to be made into ego-weapons.

A: There's nothing in the works or weapon re-vamps for ego-type weapons

Q: What do I hunt for a Battle Mandolin?

A: You can get it through Elite Shadow Missions

Q: Will there be glowing or flashy eyes for character on Mabinogi?

A: Highly doubtful.

Q: Will there be future events that will give out the rare Volcano, Earthquake, Tidal Wave, and Hurricane Cylinders as well as Red Upgrade Stone and Blue Upgrade Stone?

A: We do have new events coming, but I'm not to sure on the reward list... its a possibility

Q: Will any of the Romeo and Juliet Romantic Box items be released in future events?

A: It's a possibility, we're just going to just have to wait and see

Q: Is there going to be another Ancient Treasure Chest event in the near future?

A: Yes, Ancient Treasure Chest event will be scheduled sometime this year.

Q: Will old premium wears be re-released? Alexina users have never gotten a chance at the 2008 premium wears.

A: There's nothing planned yet, but its definitely an idea worth noting.

Q: Question: Our Homesteads reach max level and still there is a VAST AMOUNT OF EMPTY LAND, Will there be an update to make Homesteads larger?

A: There will be new features/items and options for homestead in the near future

Q: Is there any possibility of releasing a cash shop item that converts from R->S or S->R special upgrade?

A: The conversion stone is not an item available to the public.

Q: Will the Royal Alchemist ever have a higher cap then 100?

A: There's no plan to change the cap for the Royal Alchemist, but a change is needed.

Q: With the recent update (G14) I was wondering what is Nexon going to do to fix the lag in the Alexina Server?

A: We are definitely looking at several different options, but nothing is finalized yet.

Q: Is the Stone conversion pot ever gonna be released to the public? I ended up messing some of my weps up because of that rumor and now i'm stuck with the R or S upgrade.

A: The Conversion Stone is a testing tool and there's currently no plans on releasing it to the public

Q: Will the kitty-ear headband come back soon in a gachapon or something of that sort?

A: Its hard to tell what items will be available in the future, but its could be available in the next gachapon.

Q: There are a lot of issues with the skill window it lags how the Character window used to, as well as the Tara Crashes that occur friends complain to me about the first time you fly in Tara you crash will that be fixed some times soon?

A: We have informed Korea of all the Latency and instability issues, there are plans but nothing is finalized yet.

Q: Will you implement a locally stored chat blacklist for spam bots that are regularly refreshed in towns?

A: Definitely not a bad idea!!!

Q: Will we ever be able to enter out homestead houses?

A: Unfortunately no, the Homestead Houses are not intended for you to enter.

Q: Wondering if the remaining advance tier three magics will come out soon?

A: You have to just wait and see!

Q: will there be a depersonalization potion sold in the cash shop like they have in overseas servers?

A: Its a great item/feature to have and we hope that it becomes available for NA release.

Q: Is the shorean knight long bow of chivalry currently available to us? i have not seen one player with it.

A: Its not available yet..

Q: Is there any work in progress to fix the giant lance, mainly the walking after a normal combo?

A: We are aware of this issue and we should get it fixed real soon.

Q: Sorry to bother you but, when will the Alchemy Oven, Cooking Oven, and Carpentry Bench be released in Homestead?

A: There's nothing planned, but If new items were to be released I believe those items would be next in line.

Q: Will guild search, under friend list, be fixed?

A: DevCat is aware of this issue!

Q: Any plans for another server?

A: Not at this time.

Q: Is there any plans for NA Mabinogi to get the 2NE1 hairstyles?

A: Those are KR specific items, so i doubt we'd get them here, but we do have other similar items lined in the future.

Q: When is the Tara festival going to come?

A: The Tara Event is scheduled to release sometime this year

Q: Is there any ideas to make a Life-skilled Destiny?

A: Not at this moment.

Q: Is it a possibility that new Magic skills will be created?

A: If you're talking about new magic skills being released, then Yes there will be new magic skills available in the upcoming contents.

Q: Whatever happen to the planned free daily item in the item shop?

A: I'm not too aware of this plan that you're mentioning.

Q: Are we going to be getting any awesome, NA exclusive content?

A: Yes, its currently under development and we should see it sometime this year.

Q:I want to be able to dye my character's underwear(into pretty bright pink~).

A: Think that will ever be possible? Maybe, but as of now, no you cannot. :D

Q: Will there ever be an item protection for special upgrades, like preventing item destruction from 5-6?

A: Not at this moment.

Q: What sort of things with Kon be used for?

A: KoN is currency for your Homestead, There might be new items and or features you can purchase, your just going to have to wait and see.

Q: Will there be an ego buff that might include Critical Damage or uncap to lv60+ ?

A: Not at this moment

Q: will spirit weapons ever be vamped to pass the new red/blue UG stones?

A: Not at this moment

Q: Are there going to be any other event opportunities to receive the Nuadha set?

A: Its not highly likely that an NPC wear would be part of an event reward list.

Q: will there ever be alchemy ovens for homesteads?

A: There's a strong possibility that it will.

Q: Will our homestead background change? My Uladh homestead looks so weird in the middle of barren land.

A: I do agree that there should be different backgrounds to enhance the look of your Homestead, but there's nothing in the works at the moment.

Q: Will the old Treasure Chest Event's be out anytime soon, like the ones with ordinary chests for ego food?

A: Yes the Treasure Chest Event is scheduled to release sometime this year.

Q: Will Rank 1 composing be achievable soon?

A: It will be released eventually, but its hard to tell when that will be.

Q: You going to make it possible to get Delegation items again? Like the oh so popular Hebona Robe?

A: Delegation Event will probably not make a return for quite awhile.

Q: Will they ever allow a family to be expanded?

A: There's nothing in the works at the moment

Q: Will we ever have a way to change the location of our homestead?

A: It would be a nice feature to have, but since its fairly new i doubt you will see this option anytime soon.

Q: Will we ever be able to have ornaments on our homesteads to increase production of sunlight, mana, and golden herbs like we do for base and bloody?

A: We do have props/ornaments that increase production value and rate... you just have to place certain items next to each other to get the bonus effect.

Q: Have you made any decisions so far on how you will change Fantasy Life in the future, if being changed?

A: We do have something planned but since its nothing too specific we can give out any information in regards to it

Q: Is there going to be an increase for the max number of friends you can have in the friend's list? I am have a hard time making room for new friends everyday.

A: WE have suggested to DevCat to increase the Friends List count.

Q: Would it be possible to refund Homestead Stones when you remove a recently built (i.e. within 24 hours) item?

A: Its definitely a nice feature to have but again since homestead is fairly new its hard to say what new feature would be released in the future.
