Hello Milletians! By the time you are reading this post, we have just had our 14th Anniversary livestream where we've announced a super special TOTALLY SECRET surprise! Alexina and Nao servers will be merged together into a new server, Erinn. The anticipated server merge date is Thursday, April 14th. We know that this merger has been highly anticipated and are excited to announce that all players of Mabinogi will be together on one server moving forward. We hope that this will bring new opportunities for you as a community to come together and create more memories in the world of Erinn. Please carefully read below for the information related to the upcoming April 14th server merge. [1] [2]
Details
Servers
- Alexina and Nao Servers will be merged together into a new server, the Erinn Server.
- Erinn will have 10 channels.
- Several restrictions to the game have been added in order to prepare for the upcoming server merge:
- New character, pet, and partner creation has been turned off until April 14th.
- Guild creation and guild stone creation will be unavailable until April 14th.
- Leasing a Taillteann farm option will be disabled until April 14th.
- Leasing a Shop Marketplace (Housing) option will be disabled until April 14th.
- Any currently leased shop contracts in the Marketplace will expire before the April 14th merge.
- Gold used to bid on the shop originally and Gold stored in the Shop will not be merged for Alexina players.
- Any currently leased shop contracts in the Marketplace will expire before the April 14th merge.
- The Name Change page on the website will be unavailable for use until after the server merge on April 14th.
Names
- Alexina characters, pets, partners, family names, and homesteads with duplicate names will have their name changed to 'Name+Alexina'.
- Players that incur a name change upon the merge will be provided a free Name Change Coupon.
- Alexina players can petition for their character names by contacting Nexon support staff to see if the Nao account that shares their name is inactive.
- If approved, the inactive Nao character will instead be named 'Name+Nao'.
- Character names without duplicates will be unchanged.
- Partners that incur a name change will have their likeability reset.
Characters
- All Pets will be merged safely.
- All Spirit information will be merged.
- Character/Pet cards will be merged safely.
- Character creation date and your titles will all remain intact.
- Alexina Pets resting in Pet Houses, Pets in an ongoing Expedition or completed Expedition, or Partners placed on the Homestead will not remain in this state.
- Alexina Mini Pets have been removed and mail has been sent to the highest total level character on the account with the corresponding mini pet whistle of the pet that was removed.
Bank / Inventory
- Most inventory items will remain unchanged.
- Items that have been unbound by a Trade Unlock Potion. The current unbound effect will be lost and will need to be reapplied.
- Alexina Wedding Rings cannot be merged and will be removed.
- Marriage info will be merged.
- Remarriage is required to obtained another ring.
- Alexina Meet-Cute Bracelets and Rose Couples Bracelets cannot be merged and will be removed.
- Peas in a Pod Gift Box/Rose Couples Bracelet Gem Box will be distributed back to the character that originally opened the box.
- The mailbox will be merged safely.
- Gold and items in the bank across servers on an account will be merged.
- If the gold in the bank exceeds the account's bank limit, gold cannot be deposited.
- Bank passwords will be reset and can be changed after the merge.
- Items on the Auction House will be merged safely.
- After the merge, new items cannot be posted until pre-merge items are retrieved.
Dressing Room
- Pon will be merged safely.
- Duplicate items across characters on different servers on an account will be moved to the Point Inventory, when opening the Dressing Room for the first time after the merge. If you only play on one server, your Dressing Room contents will merge with all of the items intact.
- The Point Inventory can hold up to 300 items. If the amount of duplicate items (across servers) is over 300, up to 100 items will go into your temporary inventory. If the amount of the remaining duplicate items is over 100, the items will be dropped. There is no guarantee the items can be recovered if they are dropped from the temporary inventory.
Guilds
- Guild names will not be changed.
- All guild stones will need to be placed again.
- Any current Guardian Guilds prior to the merge will be reset.
- Guild GP and Gold stored in the Guild Stone will be merged.
Dungeon Guide
- The Dungeon Guide will not be reset.
- For accounts that registered for the Dungeon Guide across servers, the Dungeon Guide clear counts will be merged.
- If you cleared Alby Dungeon 10 times on Nao and 10 times on Alexina, your Dungeon Guide clear count for Alby Dungeon will be at 20 clears after the merge.
- After the merge, you can change your registered main character to receive Vouchers at NPC Eavan in Dunbarton. Additionally, Vouchers received across characters can be transferred across characters through the bank.
- Unclaimed rewards will be merged.
- However, it is suggested to claim any unclaimed Dungeon Guide Repeated Clear Rewards before the merge if you played on both servers.
Reset Content
This content will be reset upon the merge:
- Festia Weekly Ranking Board.
MabiNovel Bulletin Board.Bard Bulletin Board.- Fashion Contest Winner.
- Royal Alchemists and Upgrade Methods found by Royal Alchemists.
- The max amount of Royal Alchemists will remain unchanged, being 100.
- Seal Stones.
- The Seal Stones will need to be broken again in the new server, granting the respective Seal-Breaker titles to the character who breaks the seal.
- Characters who obtained the Seal-Breaker title previously will still be able to use the Seal-Breaker title.
- Subject Theta: Containment First Raid Clear.
- Commerce prices.
- Guardian Guilds
- Main character selection for any events will be reset.
- Master Chef's Comments in the Cooking Journal will be reset.
- Altruist System Points and Altruist Ranking will be reset.
General UI saved settings will be reset, including:
- Hotkey bar placements
- Extra skill slots
- Saved pet organization and tabs
- Unique to Alexina characters, the pets assigned to a Fynn Pet's Friend Summoning hotkey slot will be reset.
- Pets can be added to the hotkey slot as normal after merge.
- It is recommended to screenshot these settings so they may be reapplied.
