Description

Camping Papa is back again and needs some help looking for his son's lost item! Help fish up some Glubbers, and compete with one another for some good old fashioned fisherman fun! Check out the details below.

Event Details

• Upon logging in, you will receive the following quest, [Guide] Family Fish Fiasco.
• Talk to Camping Papa near the Emain Macha West Moon Gate, and register a main character.
  • Only one character per account can be registered.
• Camping Papa, his family, and the other anglers will only appear on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays.
  • They will not appear Monday through Thursdays.
• After hearing Camping Papa's story, and registering a main character, he will give you 500 Custom-Crafted Bait Tins and the weekly quest, [Weekly] Delivery Commission Quest.
  • Custom-Crafted Bait Tins can be used in Emain Macha to fish up a Gilded Glubber, a Dead Gilded Glubber, or the Boy's Lost Box.
    • This bait will not result in any items other than the 3 mentioned above.
• Talk to Camping Papa to obtain 500 more Custom-Crafted Bait Tins every day during the weekends, from Friday, EDT: 3:00am
  UTC: 7:00am

  12:00am PDT100 through Sunday, EDT: 2:59am
  UTC: 6:59am
  AEST: 4:59pm

  • A total of 1500 Bait can be obtained each week.
  • This resets at EDT: 3:00am

  • You can fish any day during the event. However, the event bait is only obtainable during the weekends
• Bring Camping Papa 35 Dead Gilded Glubbers 4 times every week, (for a total of 140), to complete the quest [Weekly] Delivery Commission Quest.
  • Deliver 35 Dead Gilded Glubber - Golden Experience Fruit (300%) x2
  • Deliver 35 Dead Gilded Glubber - Tabula Ocular (Tradeable) x3
  • Deliver 35 Dead Gilded Glubber - Perfect Free Repair Kit x1
  • Deliver 35 Dead Gilded Glubber - Platinum Hammer of Durability x1
• You must finish the previous week's quest before Camping Papa will give you the next week's quest!

Fishing Master's Rankings

• You can submit your Gilded Glubbers to the Reclusive Fishing Master and compare your rankings with other players!
• When you submit a Gilded Glubber to the Reclusive Fishing Master, he will take the fish from your inventory.
• If you submit a 260 cm or bigger Gilded Glubber, he may give you something special...
  • If you submit a 300 cm or bigger Gilded Glubber and have not earned the Fishing Savant title, the Reclusive Fishing Master will give you:
    • Fishing Savant title
      • If you have already received the Fishing Savant title, you will unlock a unique dialogue with the Reclusive Fishing Master.
    • 500 Custom-Crafted Bait Tins
    • The event quest, "[Event] Aquatic Ecosystem Cleanup"
  • This is NOT repeatable.
• Note: if you have already obtained the Fishing Savant title from a previous Family Weekend Fishing Event, you can immediately get the extra 500 Custom-Crafted Bait Tins without needing to submit a 300 cm or bigger Gilded Glubber again.
• The Reclusive Fishing Master and Fishing Master's Rankings are only available on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays during the event period.

• This loot bag can be obtained by fishing in Emain Macha with the fishing bait, "Custom-Crafted Bait Tin".

• This quest is a guide quest. It is given once to guide the player towards the event area.
• This quest is given to all characters on the account. It is removed from all other characters, after the main character has been registered.

Briefing	Your help has been requested near the Emain Macha West Moon Gate. Use the Traveler's Guide to go there now.

• This quest is given weekly over the duration of the event period.
  • This resets at EDT: 3:00am
    UTC: 7:00am
    AEST: 5:00pm
    12:00am PDT100 every Friday morning.

How to Get Quest	Submit a 260+cm Gilded Glubber to the Reclusive Fishing Master.
Briefing	The Gilded Glubber is a close relative of the Golden Scale Fish said to have been created by the Reclusive Fishing Master. The very first Gilded Glubber attacked the Reclusive Fishing Master and vanished into the waters of Emain Macha. Catch it and stop it from destroying the ecosystem!
Objectives	Catch a Gilded Glubber 300 cm or Bigger Register a 300+ cm Gilded Glubber in the rankings
Rewards	1000000 Experience Points Fishing Savant Title
