Music Buff effect / Music Duration | 9 | 14:30, 13 May 2013 |
Type of Success and Music Effects | 8 | 03:23, 30 July 2012 |
I think the two of these should have a place somewhere. Currently they, as far as I can see are not really explained at all on the wiki.
I know they are pretty self explanatory but I think it should be somewhere still. Would it be alright if I added it as a section on this page?
Similar to how piercing level used to be on the lance list page.
I don't mind it at all.
Piercing Level was moved though since Masterpiece Bow has it.
That's a completely different kind of pierce though, it is actually determined by stats, where as Piercing Level on lances exist only within the weapon.
I didn't say they were the same. That kind of pierce only does -1 def per pierce and is determined by your dex, but ya, what Dante said.
I know you didn't say they were the same, I was just meaning that Pierce Level isn't really a stat the way other stats are.
Does the Type of Success on the music have any affect on the buffs themselves, or just the training requirements?
A big success will show the character rocking out and will increase the buff. Likewise, I believe that a poor song will reduce the effects, but I don't know.
I've never gotten anything poor from playing. It sometimes shows neutral and I seriously doubt that would be poor.
But how much of a difference is the "big success" buff?
Rank F Playing Instrument (+1% Buff). Rank N Enduring Melody.
- Normal Performance: +1 Def, +1.0 Prot, +101.00% Regen.
- Excellent Performance: +1 Def, +1.1 Prot, +111.10% Regen.
- Inspiring Performance: +1 Def, +1.3, Prot, +131.30% Regen.
So if my math is right, Normal = No Change, Excellent = 10%, Inspiring = 30%?
This was discussed in another talk page already. Because it is a melee skill, STR affects its damage.
