Category talk:Hard Mode Dungeons
On this page it says that runda dungeon cannot be soloed even in hard mode. Yet on the runda hardmode page, it says that the dungeon does not have to be soloed. Someone please clarify this, I don't really want to go hunt a pass and do it myself right now.
- If I'm reading it right on JP, it can be done with a party. --- Angevon (Talk) 21:43, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Vintage Items
I was curious about vintage items. In a hard mode dungeon, will every peice of clothing dropped be a vintage version? Or does vintage only apply to a select few items? I'm sure this will be cleared up soon enough and I'll post if I find an answer before. --Sanity 14:13, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- I ran rundal hard mode (no pass) and managed to get a Life Tail Cap in my reward chest but the Tail Cap wasn't vintage. Does this mean vintage isn't implemented yet or that vintage is a rare drop? --Sanity 17:05, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've seen someone with a Vintage Headband, so they are implemented. I'll just confirm later where he got it and which difficulty. Zephyre 20:04, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Four runs of Rundal Normal on Hard gains Wolf Hunter Tail Cap, Wolf Hunter Tail Cap, Wolf Hunter Tail, Stiff Vintage Tail Cap. My guess would be is that it's added to the item pool, rather than replacing an item.--Mystickskye 07:26, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Hard Mode or Hardmode?
The category's title uses Hard Mode but elsewhere Hardmode is used, which is correct? --ZRoc (Talk) 10:25, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- I used Hardmode (easier for me to type out while making all the monster names and pages) but other users have been using Hard Mode. If we change to Hard Mode we'd have to move like 50 monster templates to rename them now :< Does the game itself have any official name for it? --- Angevon (Talk) 14:07, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Well...when you touch a goddess statue inside a dungeon the message displayed says for example "You're currently on Floor x of Hard Mode Alby Basic Dungeon." But I agree with the fact that almost every page related to these dungeons would have to be moved if we just wanted to add that little space in between the words. Qaccy 17:38, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Monsters
A lot of hardmode monsters are still marked on their respective pages as being future content. I fixed this with spiders and skeletal canines, but there's still a lot more to move. Someone should get on this. I'll try to do a few more over time, but I don't want to do ALL of it. --Jerl 05:42, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Speaking of which, how should they be formatted? Like, should be hardmode version of the monster be placed right after the normal version, or in its own little section?--♪♫♪♫тιиα♪♫♪♫ταιқ♪♫♪ 20:01, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Potions
Monsters usually drop better potions than their "normal" counterparts (i.e. a Goblin(Hardmode) usually drops an HP 50 potion, rather than a HP 30 potion, but it still sometimes drops HP 30's) Nandattebayo 10:54, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Does this mean that a Boss Trial pass can be dropped on the alter too? Also, would this mean that passes from past events, such as the Ciar Event Passes, will open a new dungeon? --ZephyreTALK 06:07, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
Hardmode passes cannot be dropped. It will return an error message, and you will be able to pick the pass back up. ...Wait, why isn't this in the article yet? I'm adding it. --Jerl 00:35, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
