Disputed finishing/rewards
- It appears that most hits rewards the finish and gold, even from regular field bosses, not just giant field bosses. Experience is only shared with the party members as per normal.
- The reward system appears to reward based on number of hits, crits or damage as a *percentage of total*, as it's not completely random. You might call it the "poor, good, and rare" drops. Simply hitting the field boss once is enough to generate a reward unless there are a huge number of players. I theorize the game has certain tiers of rewards, and hands them out based on hits, damage and crits. The reason I say this, is that fighting with damage gear (that obviously everyone else has) rarely nets a good item, while fighting with crit gear usually does, or maybe it's entirely based on hits to prevent people from hitting once and then running away.KisaiTenshi 09:05, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
- I'm thinking damage or crits. Having just fought several field bosses I can vouch that the ones I critted on dropped more or better things than those I didn't. i.e. Goblin bandits dropped 1.5k gold and the fomor scrolls (criting at least 4 times on each goblin) Where as sheep wolves I critted once on one (Dropped an hp 10 potion) and twice on another (Dropped 250 ish gold). Those with out crits (sheep wolves, mini bear) Dropped nothing. Ket 13:35, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

I got a feeling that the desert dragon is notified by Alexina, does anyone know? --Kaillera 17:48, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- A few days ago I think Kusina told me about the Giant Lion, but now I'm getting nothing. Koil 18:11, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you, this will help people cut down on talking rumors to NPC that doesn't say anything. --Kaillera 18:17, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm fine to keeping working extensively on this, but do you also want the npc's in Uladh that talk about feild bosses, such as the Giant White Wolf? Koil 18:22, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- I think most of the Uladh's field bosses are pretty useless, and they can also be solo'd real quick anyways. --Kaillera 18:27, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- No, I meant do you want me to figure out which npc's will alert you about them showing up. Just like the one's in Iria. Koil 18:28, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- Feel free to add them to the list. I am just more focused on the larger field bosses. --Kaillera 18:31, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- Giant Lion info is from Waboka. Ifrit is from every NPC in Filia but Atrata (tested this just now) --Berkt 18:59, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Cycle period
It's a set interval which are different on all channels :\ --Kaillera 15:55, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Defeated Field Bosses
If you defeat a field boss, does it come back again? --Caellian 21:09, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- After a (set?) amount of time, yes. If they didn't, we'd have no field bosses. =P --Aramet (Talk) 21:20, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Spawn Patterns
There's a pattern to the spawning of each Giant Field Boss, I think it's something along the lines of "On Tuesday this boss will spawn on this channel at this time". I'm not sure how it works exactly, because I don't camp them, but I know people who ALWAYS make it to the Giant Bosses. Maybe we should try making a list of the spawn times per channel per server? --Simpet 01:54, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- Someone on the japan servers made something called a cukocuko timer. Tells what times Iria field bosses spawn. I've heard rumors that some guild leader on Tarlach server got a hold of the base code and translated it, but he refuses to admit/share this alleged timer.Ket 15:43, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
Mistranslation
Uladh (Troll, Ogre, Giant White Spider, Giant Bear, Goblin Bandit, Black Raccoon, Giant Black Wolf, Black Warrior, and Black Wizard)
Reading this as I was in Tir for a Giant White wolf spawn made me wonder if giant white spider is supposed to be giant white wolf?
I mean:
거대한 흰 늑대 Giant white wolf
거대한 흰 거미 Giant white spider
I've seen worse mistranslations.
And searching the Japanese wiki for 巨大な白い蜘蛛(Giant white spider) results in: 巨大な白い蜘蛛 を含むページは見つかりませんでした。(Page that contains giant white spider was not found.) Ket 04:51, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

Works with the help of MabiMessage. Functions in a similar fashion to the Japanese boss timer. Ie taking reports from clients in the area and transmitting back to server.
