Category talk:DataEnchant
umm, this is my first time attempting DeadEiry, did I do it right? -- Ladywinter 00:15, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- you're going to need a Template:Enchant page and setting up the base of the pages. --Kevin 00:19, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- Do you mean this? Or like, the template for how to stick the data into boxes like this? -- Ladywinter 00:24, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- 2nd kind. :D --Kevin 00:27, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ah ok, That makes sense...I'm thinking of making it into a sortable list like this. Would you know the best way to go about this via DeadEiry? Or is it pretty much the same, but just with tags pointing back to the data? -- Ladywinter 00:31, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Huge lag
I've gotta say...the template is fine, but editing any of the info for any enchant 9 times out of 10 causes incredible lag on the wiki, usually causing it to go completely offline. I'll say again that this is not caused by editing the enchant template itself, but rather editing individual enchants. Anyone have an idea why this happens? It can't be fan-out because 1) the base template isn't being changed, and 2) each template's data really only shows on the enchant page they belong to. Go try editing any enchant info, I hope you see what I mean. :/ Qaccy 04:14, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
- I wonder if the complexity of the template is a factor, since the style templates have to make many checks since there are so many parts to each enchant. We're also not sure how many transclusions are needed to cause a fan-out. Each enchant template is used on 3+ pages. ---Angevon 18:59, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
