Description

Use Blacksmithing to make and deliver as many items as you can within the time limit. The items to be delivered are specified, and the score is decided according to the items' quality. As the test rank increases, so too does the score needed to pass the test.

General Tips

• You will need to craft 3 weapons with a decent quality (70+) to reach about 12,000 points.
• Armor pieces award less points even with the completed set bonus, so they should be ignored in favor of Elen's and Ferghus' weapon requests.
• It is recommended to have rank 1 Harvest Song and use it to increase crafting success rate.
• It's recommended that you arrange the window of your advancement inventory bags before initiating the test.
• Despite what the NPC dialogue implies, all items give more points for higher quality. Turning in all armor pieces for a set will award bonus points.
• The Info and Exit buttons will be blocking the shop window if the shop window is at the upper right corner.
  • You can, in advance, arrange the location of the shop window by moving it while browsing a different shop beforehand.
• You will need to purchase all additional materials (except ingots), including each item's Blacksmith Manual.
  • You will start off with 200 of each type of ingot. It is recommended that you purchase another 100 mythril ingots.
  • You are given more than enough gold to buy everything. You can not run out of gold without buying excessive amounts of materials that exceed the size of your inventory.
  • Use CTRL+Click to buy materials and manuals quickly.
• Be mindful of the amount of materials and manuals you can carry at once.
  • Use the magnet icon in your primary inventory window to merge all stackable items together. Remember that it has a 15 second cooldown.
• It is recommended to memorize or have the above crafting table prepared as reference to know what you will need to buy.
  • Minimize your trips to the advancement helper in order to save time.
  • If you talk to both Elen and Ferghus, you can know what your next two orders will be and shop accordingly.
• If you are extremely organized with a shopping list and nimble fingers, you can purchase all materials for all weapon patterns up to 3 crafts of each possible weapon.
