Since the update, Dan ranks actually have increased effects from previous ranks of the skill. How are we wanting to do this?

Just manually add 3 columns for info on Dan 1 ~ 3 for the eligible skills?

Collecting info will be kind of difficult manually. So far it seems that with increased Dan ranks come with increased skill effects as well as increased MP/Stamina costs.

Icebolt Dan 3 seems to cost 5~6 MP for the first charge. And Healing Dan 1 seems to cost ~45 MP.

Not sure of their actual costs though, as this is calculating stuff like Construct Alchemy talent bonus and Ice Mastery's MP cost reduction.


At any rate, is there any preferred way for adding this info? Just to keep things uniform and keep from editing things incorrectly.

I started to add them to the existing tables as Dan 1, Dan 2, and Dan 3 with the updated boosts, like so:

Lightning Rod

It is probably best to keep them in line with the rest of the ranks where possible, and filling in ? where data hasn't been collected yet.

The mana / stamina thing is an interesting problem, we probably need people to test that properly to get the new values since there doesn't seem to be any easily accessible info on it.

Updated with all the info I could figure out on the dan skills so far.

Turns out that they may have some other effects I didn't notice, like I found out today that Heal does some wound recovery starting at Dan 1.

So we'll see if people figure out anything else special.

Maybe the success rate changes for Dan 1/2/3 ranks of Potion Making, Magic Craft, and Engineering.

At the very least, it doesn't seem like Icebolt's MP recovery amount changed at all from r1 to Dan 3.

All the success rates I saw, at least for Engi/MC, were the same as R1 successes.

At least those skills have quality improvements, people are sigging stuff all the time with dan ranks.

It should be over 5 minutes remaining for enough bonus points to get SS rank.

If anyone can instruct me, I'm not sure how to edit in Dan rank info on craftables.

Like the success rates for Eweca and Ladeca upgrade stones goes up with Dan rank Magic Craft, 45% at Dan 1, up from 40% at r1.

And there are new recipes for accessories with Magic Craft, the Ancient Four-Leaf Clover, the Ancient Horned Ring, and the Ancient Sun Yeti Heart.
I'm not sure how to add info for them properly, or how to make them show up right on the Magic Craft List.
They're all Difficulty rank Dan 1, but I'm not sure how to add that so it works with the template.

Also, I can't actually craft them myself, since I don't have access to the Treasure Hunter talent, so I can't do the Treasure Dungeon to get my own Suntouched Shyllien Crystals, so I'm not sure about the rolls or other stats on the accessories, or info like the item description.

Success rates for previously-existing items don't go up with dan ranks, Eweca Red at R1 is 45%.

Will add the new item info though and try to edit the template to fit.

EDIT: Okay added the info for those new items, also edited the crafting success rate template and header for dan ranks. Also went and added the potion success rates too, but I don't have the time or energy to duplicate the R1 success rates on everything else right now.
