From Mabinogi World Wiki

Page needs more work.

This page is not really finished, it needs more contributors.

  1. I don't know when we get the sketching skills.
  2. All the Special Skills are really unknown to me. (Throw Airplane, Hide, etc.)
  3. I don't know if in each Chapter, the sign of Mabinogi changes, since in Chapter 3 the color is green, could someone check if there is one for Chapter 2 or something?
  4. I don't think there's barely anything known about Generation 9 and it's Chapter 3, if there is, please contribute.
  5. I don't know the version and/or the date of release of the Korean and Japanese Mabinogi, it might not be important, but the idea of this page is to explain everything of each patch, at least the korea date is important. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Serenixy(talk)
Sketching isn't a skill (technically it is, but), along with Airplane, Hide, Terraform are called Actions. I also heard some releases use an icon of Nao or Morrighan. --Kakurady 18:20, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Seperating the Generations

I think every player that will visit the page and check the Generations, will be excited already because she/he saw so many updates of Generation 3, like the Party Healing, Pet Dueling and that, which is wrong, people are getting confused.
We need to separate what has been implemented yet and what will be implemented in the next seasons, to avoid misunderstanding of course, yet show everything that has been implemented in the Generation in one piece. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Serenixy(talk)

The only problem is we don't know exactly what season many things were added. But we do know the Generations. It's better than no info at all, though. ---Angevon 05:26, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Article Structure Rearrangement

Currently, the article separates chapters from generations and generations from seasons. It's kinda illogical to do this... So I propose these be arranged in a timeline-like fashion, like this:

== Update Log ==
=== Chapter 1 ===
==== Generation 1====
===== Season 1 =====
===== Season 2 =====
===== Season 3
==== Generation 2 ====
===== Season 1 =====
===== Season 2 =====
===== Season 3 =====
...
==== Extra Generation ====
{{unimplemented}}
=== Chapter 2 ===

etc.

This could also serve to take away the confusion that is having all of one generation's update in one place. --Kakurady 13:49, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Generation CHange Notification

It's C2G10S1 for Japan server now. 3 new alchemy skills that I know of: Raincasting, Fury of Light, Spear of Light / 13 Dec. 2008, 18:29 --Fruitrecruit

EDIT: Fury of Light and Spear of Light arent alchemy --Fruitrecruit

Actually, Japan is on C3G9S1 or 2, the South Korean is the farthest with C3G9S3. December 13, 2008 6:54PM (EST) User:MasterRyan

C3G10S1 is Coming!

About a Week ago, Generation 10 of Mabinogi was announced for the Korean Server. However, a date was not released, but Pictures were. For More Information, go ton this site, where there is info and pictures (in Korean of coarse):http://www.mabinogi.com/C3/News/Update.asp?mode=view&aid=12&ReadSn=4876872 December 15, 2008, 12:05 PM EST User:MasterRyan

Questions

I was wondering if it was really necessary for people to list their names under the G3S5 tab. I edited too, but those siggies just look weird there. @_@ --Lloyd December 19, 2008 9:27PM (EST)

You are right. Sigs do not belong on pages. Or else I'd own much of the wiki. ---Angevon

Morva Aisle

Does anyone know why Morva Aisle is still blocked off, it was supposed to be released in Extra Generation, the Housing Guide on Mabinogi.com said so, does anyone know why it is still blocked off? --User:MasterRyan December 20, 2008, 12:44 AM, EST

Nexon doesn't have to have a reason to dash your hopes >_< ---Angevon

.: Morva Aisle IS released, you just have to complete the quest to get there

4-6?!

On the patch page, someone put that Generations 4-6 come in 1 patch! Who did this and why, and in what country! - User: MasterRyan February 4, 2009, 11:26 AM EST

Nexon has released information that they might just skip to G6. Implementing all the stuff. Since on other servers the G4-6 was when the most player base decreased due to " not enough content ", But its still only a rumor. Nexon needs to put up their next Erinn Walker Chapter up sooner >.> Clear up all the rumors --Trickybomb 19:26, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
I sure hope they don't, or I would be in some REAL trouble! Reason: (secret) - User: MasterRyan February 4, 2009, 3:14 PM EST
Since it's a rumor, I'm removing it. ---Angevon
Someone re-added the information after you had removed it, so I removed it again for now. I've looked around, and I see no CREDIBLE source that says 4-6 is coming in one. As you said, it's a rumor, because people think just because dragons, giants, elves are all coming in one, they'll just skip over G4. I see no official announcement that G4 and G5 will be skipped, so I don't believe the rumor should be on the page. ~Rusty~

Minor edit needed in the section Generation 5 - Desert Elves

In the section concerning skills, the Throwing Stone has a minor edit needed. It states : Throw Stone can now be learned from Shawn after completing the quest Throwing Stones. The NPC name here in NA version is Sion in Bangor(by giving him after receiving quest and talking to him a slice of cake). This is corrected in the actions section of the wiki. Just thought I'd make a note of this slight edit.--Syllwynn

G5-G7... No info...

We're in the G4-ish to G7-ish area but when i click show next to the section names it does nothing... where is all the info?!

Maybe...someone needs to add it!! --Kevin (•Talk•) 22:42, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
I never added it when I first created this page because Nexon NA had, and still has to edit everything to do, Generation 1 to 3 had small differences than the other Mabinogi versions, that's why I did not bother to translate 4 to 9 because it could mislead people, so I only added small updates that will sure be releases in a Generation. --Serenixy 17:35, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Elements of G9 already here.

I'm fairly sure that these:

   * Less experience required to level-up.
   * Free Basic rebirth available to characters that have reached age 20.
   * Characters can rebirth every week, as opposed to three weeks.
   * G1~3, transformation, and Spirit Weapons no longer require a paid service.

Are all already here. Should they get left in G9, and if not where do we move them to? --Fracture

Yeah, NA is getting a ton of random things from everywhere, and you can't really say where we're even at right now any more. Even the game doesn't indicate what generation this is, although that may be for other reasons. At any rate, I'd say we should ignore the generation path the other areas have and simply have a different one for NA.
Oh, quiz bombs are in as well. --Doomsday 08:03, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Gen. 4,5,6

I say that we should merge these generations together, since we don't know exactly what came out exactly on which generation due to all generations coming out in 1 single patch. --Kevin Talk«) 02:24, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

G7

I was reading in korean websites and G7 is called "Tropic River" or something like that! anyone knows any further? --Sweetspot 20:40, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Blank drop-down lists for certain Seasons?

Why do we have blanks for the Seasons of G4, G5 and G6?? We obtained all of those Generations in one go, so should there even be a need for Seasons in there? This whole page produces confusion when you think about it. G1-G3's Seasons are based on NA, but G4-G7's are not.

If we're a wiki for Mabinogi NA, we should organize all this data according to the order we obtained our updates. I understand having G9-G11's updates for future reference and whatnot, but we should get rid of the unnecessary Seasons listed in this page, as we never received them.

Instead of having a S1-S4 for G4-G6, we should have a main The Pioneers of Iria as our "generation" and G4, G5 and G6 as our "seasons," listing all that we obtained for each region when we received the entire patch. Something like:

The Pioneers of Iria

Generation 4 - Rano

Generation 5 - Connous

Generation 6 - Physis

I honestly think something along these lines would cause less confusion to someone reading this page. What do you all think?

--Phunkie 08:10, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

I agree that we should list what NA received for each generation. As for the patch notes for G4-6, we could also just delete them. We can't truly say which content in NA is specifically from which Generation since all 3 came in one. But your examples look fine too. ---Angevon (Talk) 22:55, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Cooking dungoen... G11S2

Must have more info. Please, For me? =D, i need to find out. 05:50, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

  • As far as I know, it's pretty much a normal dungeon (I think it's in Taillteann) and the monsters are things like knives and forks and strawberries and other random stuff. I'm pretty sure it's not related to the cooking skill. Written by Harry 08:40, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

It is at Tara Rath Castle kitchen. You basicly... ummm.... kill foods and bring it to the pot and cook it (not the skill. It is sorta like sacrifice shadow mission... sorta....) you can kill fork and knife for advantage over food monster and you MUST kill all the rat... --User:Fallenone

And the pot is called "Iron Pot" =D ~kotarou3 (talk) 22:08, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

G11S1 on China

Can someone who plays on CN add it in? I looked through the website but it didn't help me at all. --Jαy 23:22, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

Alchemy Mastery uncap

The page seems to list the uncap for Alchemy Mastery both at G10S1 and G11S1. Why is this? I assume G10S1 raises the cap to 6 and G11S1 to 1? It's really not clear from how it's worded, given it says "Cap Limits Removed" for G10S1. --Hecate 12:46, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Outdated?

Given it seems updated somewhat regularily, is the 'outdated' tag really warranted? --Hecate 21:14, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Not so much anymore. --Jay 23:41, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
It's there so we can be lazy whenever we want :P --Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 20:47, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Europe

Mabinogi EU is at Version 5 now, and has been a few days, but I don't know the exact date, so I didn't touch the number yet.

Also, while feature-wise we are at G3S4, petwise we're not. It's a bit odd.--Hecate 17:30, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

G10 Seasons

Since we got G10 all at once, I'm removing the season-specific section and also the stuff that hasn't come out in G10 (e.g. griffin pet). --- Angevon (Talk) 17:35, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

season of G11

It seems to be pretty confusing, but I'm not really quite sure what season we are on. it says sub-season 1, yet theres some stuff from season 2 (I have r5 Magic Mastery) and the Royal Alchemists might just start at a weekly time. Anyone wanna try enlightening me (or anyone else if need be) on where we stand on this or maybe clean the update notes up?--Marthian 17:17, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

features.xml states G11S2s1, sub-season is the "extra season" of the generation (G11 had 2 major and 1 minor season), used in korea for minor updates. It's basically the last season of G11. --Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 18:22, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

New loading screens

The release of G12S2 (Mabinogi KR) added loading screens to the game (apparently). I had heard a rumor about the supposed screens and did a little research. Perhaps it's not common knowledge...or am I somehow out of the loop? Here's a screenshot of one of the possible screens, [1]---Kaeporo 13:33, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Why do you need loading screens? Travelling between any area is instant, unless you're counting continent warping...IHarryl 13:56, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

It seems that the loading screens play when performing actions like continent warp and changing channels.---Kaeporo 14:49, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Loading screens were added to ease the rendering when moving to new places. Instead of having to load the data to VRAM while rendering it, it loads the data to VRAM on the loading screen then renders it rapidly. It helps with the intense lag that some users get when the graphics have to draw a large number of players or buildings. Tellos 15:09, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
