Description

You've been invited to participate in this year's Samhain. Watch the story unfold and retrieve precious memories as you complete the Singer of Secret's quests! Check out all the details here! [1]

Details

  • During the event, you will receive the quest, "[Guide] A New Tale for Samhain Eve".
  • You will receive an Unsigned Invitation.png Unsigned Invitation upon logging in during the event.
  • Meet with the Singer of Secrets in Dunbarton Library to register a main character.
  • You can only register one character per account.
  • You will receive the following rewards after completing "[Guide] A New Tale for Samhain Eve":
  • Girl's Clue Note.png Story Snippets are event currency that can be used in the event shop for rewards.
  • Every day when the main character logs in, Story Snippet x10 will be obtained.
  • As a main character, you will be eligible to take part in a new story for Samhain, meet new characters, and immerse yourself with new BGM and NPC voice over (Korean) and obtain rewards along the way!
    • The volume of the voices can be adjusted in Options > System > Sound > Voice Volume.
  • The reset time for event quests and mini-games will reset each day at 7:00am PDT100.
  • All event quests and event items will be removed when the event ends.

Memories of Samhain Event Quests

Quests' Challenge Level

  • During the event, you will select the challenge level. The difficulty of the story quests will change depending on the choice you make.
  • You can change your choice at any time by speaking with the Singer of Secrets again about Change Quest Challenge Level.
  • Quest rewards do not vary depending on difficulty, and all quest rewards are the same.
  • Selecting a challenge level of:
    • I prefer having a bit of guidance. (Easy) will provide you with quest markers.
    • I like to puzzle things out myself! (Hard) will remove any kind of quest markers and location options on the quests.

Daily Quest and Mini-Game Details

But the Memories Remain

  • From week 2 on Thursday, October 19th (after maintenance), the "[Event] But the Memories Remain" daily quest will be available.
  • To unlock the daily quest, you will need to complete the final story quest, "[Event] Life Goes On".
  • Each day, you will receive the Daily Quest, "[Event] But the Memories Remain".
  • Examine the huge mirror in the Dunbarton Library to play the mini-game, Searching for Memories.
  • Talk to the Singer of Secrets to complete the quest. You will receive the following rewards after completing the daily quest:
  • The daily quest resets daily at 7:00am PDT100.

In Search of Taller Tales

Mini-games

  • After completing the final story quest, you can play 2 types of mini-games.
  • From week 2 on Thursday, October 19th (after maintenance), the Searching for Memories mini-game will be available.
    • Searching for Memories
      • Collect 10 memory fragments while avoiding the spinning clock hands.
        • Use the Action "Prone" to avoid the clock hands.
      • Rewards include:
  • From week 3 on Thursday, October 26th (after maintenance), the Card Seeker mini-game will be available
  • The mini-games can be played an unlimited number of times.
  • Rewards for mini-games can only be obtained up to 5 times per day, regardless of the type of mini-game.
    • (Both mini-games will count to the same 5 game daily limit.)
  • The mini-game reward count resets daily at 7:00am PDT100.

  • Meet with the Singer of Secrets in the Dunbarton Library and select a main character to take part in the Samhain: Times Remembered, Times Forgotten event. You can use the Unsigned Invitation in your bag to be spirited there instantly.
  • You will see a cutscene after finishing to speak. BGM and Voice options are recommended to be adjusted before that.
  • The Singer of Secrets warns you in-game to tune up your game volume at the appropriate time.

Story Quests

  • There are several story quests that you can complete during the event period.
  • After clearing a story quest, the next story quest will unlock after 7:00am PDT100 the next day.
    • The story quests may all be done at once, so long that they are all already available beforehand.

Briefing I'm as excited as anyone to see what'll happen during the Samhain season this year. Haha...you needn't look so nervous! I'm not setting you up for anything unreasonable. Just act as you normally would and you should be fine.

  • Hand out candy to the masked child near the street light in front of the one-story house with an open window in Dunbarton
    • You will enter the Shadow mission, The Night Palala disappeared.
      • Prevent the pumpkins from reaching the goal.

How to Get Quest

Complete the previous quest.

Briefing Organize your thoughts as you follow the trail in search of the strange kid.
Objectives
  • Examine where you fell and gather your thoughts
    • Inspect the spot where you were at the end of the first quest.
  • Search for anything that might serve as a clue
    • Talk to Sian behind the Dunbarton Bank.
    • Until this objective is completed, the player will be reduced to walking.
  • Seek out someone who has knowledge of crystal balls (Hidden Reward: Stewart's Potion x1)
  • Talk to Kristell at the Dunbarton Church (Hidden Reward: Massive Holy Water of Lymilark x1)
  • Talk to someone who sees people entering and leaving Port Cobh
    • Talk to Uko at the Port Cobh Trading Post.
  • Deliver the I-C Chill Water to Uko in Port Cobh
    • This may be bought from Siobhanin for 10,000 Gold during the event, or made using the Cooking skill.
  • Talk to a group of people in Port Cobh at a place where one can hear no shortage of rumors
    • Talk to any member of the suspicious group in Annick's pub.
  • Talk to the suspicious group one more time
  • Talk to Carrie at Annick's pub in Port Cobh (Hidden Reward: Carrie's Orange Juice x1)

  • Memories of the Samhain Event Quest
    Gather your thoughts, collect clues, and search for the culprit who tampered with your memories.
  • During the last objective, the player will be given the option on how to respond to the Halloween Villains if they participated in the Halloween Villains Event
  • Regardless of the player's choice, Locke will have unique dialog if the player participated in the OX Quiz Event (2022) and acquired any? of the titles from it.
    • The title does not need to be equipped for this to happen, just obtained.
  • Talking to Carrie will complete the final quest objective. The Villains will leave the Pub, and you will not see them again for the remainder of the event.

    • You will enter the Shadow Mission Ritardando of Oblivion
      • You will have 90 seconds to collect 10 orbs scattered around the area. Use the Prone action timely to avoid getting hit by the clock hands.
      • Getting hit by either hand of the clock will take off 5 seconds.
      • The clock's hands move counter-clockwise. It is easier to follow them than to try to go clockwise to gather the orbs.
  • Talk to Aleyn, whose memories have returned
  • Obtain a dream catcher and talk to Sian in the realm within the mirror
    • Sian will take the dream catcher from you
  • Talk to Iwan at Iwan's house in Port Cobh

  • This is the same mini-game as the one seen in the main story quest (except that the result will not be rigged).
  • You will receive Annick's Book o' Stories after clearing it once per day. This book cannot be read. The Singer of Secrets will take this item off of you to complete the daily quest.
  • For each daily clear, you will also gain Onyx Box x1 and:
    • 200,000 Experience Points for 3 correct guesses.
    • 100,000 Experience Points for 2 correct guesses.
  • You can obtain the "the Card Shark" 1st Title; for guessing the correct card three times in a row. (Luck +30)
  • You can obtain the "the Dubiously Indebted" 1st Title; for guessing the incorrect card three times in a row. (Luck +30)

  • Several 1st titles can be obtained by playing through the mini-games.
  • Each title will grant +30 Luck when equipped.

  • You can only claim the item once during the event period.
