Basic Information

• Natural Shield and Heavy Stander make it more practical to use skills, such as Smash and Magnum Shot, rather than normal attacks against it.

Notes & Advice Notes Weak Stomp damage. Unlike others in the Ogre/Cyclops family, does not have Mana Deflector. When smashed while it's about to use stomp, it's clothes turn red. Advice Tactics to defeat a Cyclops are found here.

Notes & Advice Notes Because of its Natural Shield and Mana Deflector, it should be fought in a similar manner to a Golem. Icebolt or Lightning Bolt will not slow it down, and Firebolt will provoke multiple Stomps. To avoid it using Stomp, the party can use Windmill Defense. Stomp has a very large range. Advice If you're using Firebolt, a Fire Wand is recommended for the increased range as Firebolt provokes Stomp. Windmill Defense is a good way to defeat it.

Notes & Advice Notes Because of its Natural Shield and Mana Deflector, it should be fought in a similar manner to a Golem. Icebolt or Lightning Bolt will not slow it down, and Firebolt will provoke multiple Stomps. Since it uses Life Drain often and attacks almost instantly after, you should have Windmill loaded. While Life Drain is activated, you can move slowly, so it is possible to get out of range. Advice If you're using Firebolt, a Fire Wand is recommended for the increased range, as Firebolt provokes Stomp. When it is attacked, it summons Pirate Red Skeletons. It is recommended not to kill these, as the Cyclops uses the Life Drain skill. Life Drain will drain both your health and the surrounding monsters' health, and the Cyclops cannot be attacked. If the other enemies surrounding it have one HP left, it will not be able to gain anymore life from them.
