Enthralling Performance - Skill Training Seal

Fragment of a discussion from User talk:Nimfu

I think it's worthwhile to point out that mastering a skill requires you to max out the training counts rather than the training exp. Skill training seals wouldn't have helped you in the first place because of this.

Blargel (talk)10:36, 10 August 2015

I wasn't aware of that. I've been used to just keeping an eye on my exp as I went. My CP is over 1,467, so I'm having difficulty with this requirement.

Nimfu (talk)14:38, 10 August 2015

Time to invest in CP Gear~

Blargel (talk)18:29, 10 August 2015

Or just give up. My CP is beyond the point of pushing it down to 1.4k. Mastering Enthralling Performance doesn't do anything but give a useless title.

Infodude575 (talk)18:44, 10 August 2015

But... then why do YOU obtain so many useless master titles? You know what I'm talking about, lol. In any case, he's well within range of controlling his CP to a reasonable degree with the right gear.

Muhehehe... :3

Infodude575 (talk)21:49, 10 August 2015

Her* And my CP is only 1.8k. It sounds like I can manage to get it down to 1.4k. Any idea if a Tendering Potion will work? Also, I realize that it's not a useful title, but I'm so close to mastering it that I may as well. It's an OCD thing and I would rather the skill be perfectly trained than not.

Nimfu (talk)21:01, 11 August 2015

Tendering potion I believe lowers your CP enough that awful monsters become boss, strong monsters become awful, etc, etc. It could lower your CP by a ton, just enough to lower all their monster types. At least I think that's how it works, haven't used one in forever.

Tamryu (talk)02:49, 12 August 2015

Tendering Potions don't affect your CP, then only affect the enemy's rating by dropping it one (two for special tendering potions) rank after CP comparisons are done.

Does anyone know how the CP limit of 1,467 was calculated and why? If, say, a Tendering Potion can make an "awful" monster "boss", why would it still be impossible to train the skill with 1.4k+ CP?

Nimfu (talk)03:30, 12 August 2015

I assume that was written without tendering potions or reforges in mind. With 1467 CP, boss monsters must have over 4400 CP in order to be boss. However, at rank 2, you can only affect monsters with 4400 CP or less. Feel free to change it make it more specific.

Blargel (talk)09:55, 12 August 2015

Does the calculated CP affect only Rank 2? Or does it apply to Rank 1 as well?

Nimfu (talk)13:50, 13 August 2015

For rank 1, you can enthrall 4700- CP, so the limit would then be a third of that (boss mobs = your cp x 3), 1566 being the limit.

Mhmm! Sorry, I worded that horribly. That's easier to understand though, they just raise the enemy's rating up one (or two, forgot all about the other ones).
