1. Hunt monsters to collect items.
   • Outlaw's Homestead Pass has no effect on this.
   • Clothing knock-off drops for Charlene's mask and and Black Succubus's top also does not affect this. Haven't checked for other sirens/succubus but I think its safe to assume they don't work.
2. Hunt monsters to collect leather.
   • Does leather from the monster's normal drop table affect this? Nope it does not.
3. Tips
   • I don't see Foxes and Spiders being valid for this. I have NEVER EVER EVER gotten anything from them since the past few weeks/months, though it might be due to my 3k CP. Never mind.
   • Pursuit, Karu, and Longa Normal are quite as effective. I've gotten badges a majority of the time (especially in their homestead), and at least 5 or 6 random items drop from the dungeons in almost every wave.

Might as well just say conditional drops don't count. CP has no effect on ingredient hunting drops, and I have well over 3k cp, and I still get plenty of normal drops from foxes and spiders, they are completely valid. I do believe those 100% drop rate of arrows from the young fennec foxes outside filia also counted. Don't remember about leather.

By foxes and spiders, I meant their normal drops. I have never seen them anymore.

Yes, I know. I still get them. Make sure you check if you are anti botted or not. Those 100% drop arrows from those young fennec foxes outside filia are an easy way to check, or ice spearing the entire shyllien area 2 works wonders. I get antibotted constantly for my shyllien shenanigans.

Ancient drops aren't affected by anti bot or cp, and you can even get them with barehands. Not sure if the drops count for this skill though. Could you check it out?

I've been told here that ancient drop rate is affected by CP, and I've only gotten stuff out of approximately every 1/5 or 1/10 ancients.

As for this skill, give me a bit to check it out.

CP only slighty effects normal drops, I'm not sure if I even actually believe that. However, ancient drops use an entirely different drop system than normal. In tarlach server, there's always millions of ancients out there that I harvest every day. I recall a drop rate nerf from an earlier patch, and I do agree it went down then, but I really doubt cp affects ancient drops. It's that sort of thing that you'd need thousands of drops to really check, and I don't see much difference between my level 7000 character and my level 50 character personally.

All I can say that CP affecting mob drops is probably a rumor. I don't have a low leveled character or tons of -CP gear to run tests for it, though. An ancient drop rate nerf does seem possible, though I've never heard of a patch for it.

I believe it was a little bit after ancients came out. Not anything recent.

Back to the topic at hand:

1. The Outlaw Pass and the Clothing Knock-off drops should be mentioned for clarity.
2. When I get the time I'll run Math to see if normal leather drops affects this skill's leather requirement.
3. Other frequent drop locations could be mentioned in tips.

So, I'm at rank A ingredient hunting so i have to get ingredient drops. I've killed tons of monsters and still no drops. Anyone have tips for this situation?

How do those numbers factor in? Is it additive like 10% + 10% = 20% for ingredients and 8% + 5% = 13% for leathers?

Or is it the... less useful possibility of 10% boosted by 10% of its original rate -> 11% and 8% -> 8.4%?

Are drops from this skill from select monsters or every single one?

Yes, it automatically drops. No gathering required. And it drops separately from the regular drop table.
