Onion fried tuna

I added the recipe to the page, but I'm not a big wiki person, so you guys can edit it to your hearts content. But if you want to fill out the page more, a lot of info is given by a youtuber called "Rune Productions". I can't post a link, so search him up if you like. The video title is [KR Mabinogi] Doki Doki Island Event.

Luffiy (talk)13:26, 13 February 2014

I would add the cooking info in the food's page, rather than the event's page.

Nise Panda (talk)13:37, 13 February 2014

I'm not sure how to do the formatting and stuff :-/ I just wanted to get the info on there so people know how to make it. If someone is willing to fix it up, I'd appreciate it.

Luffiy (talk)13:41, 13 February 2014

Adding cooking info is good enough. But usually it would be better to confirm it in the NA's ver, because god knows what.

Nise Panda (talk)13:42, 13 February 2014

So, I'm thinking the recipe is about 60-65% Bluefin, 25-30% Onion, and 10% Garlic. Thoughts?

TLMike (talk)14:45, 13 February 2014

in the second Doki Doki I tried the dish and it is not seem to even work

Geminitiger0 (talk)18:27, 11 September 2014

See this discussion for more information. Nexon broke something again, as usual

9/11/2014 Doki Doki

http://mabidata.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1967

Might be this one, new wings and tiger pets in the boxes? Also probably gonna have Culinary Artist and Treasure Hunter NPCs?

Infodude575 (talk)21:48, 10 September 2014

Island vs. Event

What are we losing after March 25th?
From how Nexon words it, "With so much to do and experience between Feb. 13 to Mar. 25, how will you make the most of Doki Doki?" It makes it sound like the whole island will vanish.
Can anyone clarify if anything is staying after the event is over?

反町 (talk)06:27, 15 February 2014

Since no one replied to this.

  • Island will go poof. But some people may keep ways to go back on the island. Which Nexon may or may not somehow stop.
  • 2nd Couples Flight will be lost or useless.

That's bout it.

Nise Panda (talk)19:43, 17 February 2014

Assumption. :V Mainly because of past events, and 2nd Couples Flight can only go two ways anyways.

Nise Panda (talk)04:42, 18 February 2014

Nise Panda, I would like evidence of what you're saying, assuming you're not assuming that's what will happen.

Kapra - (Talk)01:17, 18 February 2014

Read the Korean Event page .3. and in there it says that once the event ends you cannot enter the Island.

Nise Panda (talk)20:09, 22 February 2014

You can still enter the island, joe is gone and people on the island got removed in the maint, but you can still return and stay just fine. (Keep in mind, the event page mentioned nothing of this at the time of me writing that post the event was still going on.)

Kapra - (Talk)22:26, 22 February 2014

To add on to this, after the event the flight action was disabled, but as said here, that is a glitch that will be fixed, it is meant to be kept after the event.

Kapra - (Talk)22:35, 22 February 2014

Did KR players petition for Doki Doki Island to be permanent for them?

Infodude575 (talk)19:44, 23 February 2014

Not that I know of, I'll ask a Korean literate person to look into it.

Kapra - (Talk)22:21, 23 February 2014

Golden Rat Man

Where does it spawn? I've seen the message pop up and then gone over the whole island and haven't seen it. I saw no message of someone killing it either.

Yombo (talk)15:07, 24 February 2014

It doesn't. It's just something Nexon/Devcat forgot to remove.

Read the trivia about the rat man: http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Doki_Doki_Island_(Location)#Trivia

Nise Panda (talk)15:24, 24 February 2014

Achieving Over 50 Dance Points

No matter how well you (and your partner) perform, as long as you both achieve over 50 dance points, will you receive a fixed 40 romance points?

(i.e. What happens if a couple were to achieve 250 dance points? Would they get 200 romance points?)

Sylfaen (talk)18:18, 23 February 2014

Correct, you only get 40(50???) points, regardless of how successful.

Ikkisuki (talk)18:20, 23 February 2014

Lovey Dovey

I was in Dorren's Request where I sat next to a built campfire. I got a message saying I would get buffed in 10 minutes, but I didn't waste precious mission time for that.

Can you actually get the buff FAR FAR AWAY from the Harmony Torch on the island?

Infodude575 (talk)14:28, 22 February 2014

Looks like..which means me putting said info on the Harmony Torch was there for nothing qq.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)16:12, 22 February 2014

OTL Nexon tricked us again.

Infodude575 (talk)16:31, 22 February 2014

Tried it in Taillteann. Didn't give me the buff at all.
Edit: Perhaps I didn't explain clearly enough. The message showed, but when the timer got to 0, the buff wasn't applied, even after standing up. In fact, the timer reset as soon as I sat back down.

~Dæmonis(´∀`) (talk)16:52, 22 February 2014

Perhaps it only works in shadow missions?

Kapra - (Talk)16:53, 22 February 2014

perhaps they erroneously applied the message to sitting at a campfire regardless of the location, as in replacing the existing "it's warm by the fire" or w/e

Also, perhaps since this information is contested, maybe we should NOT be saying that the buff works anywhere?

Shroom Fonzerelli (talk)17:15, 22 February 2014

Tried it everywhere. No buff given unless you're near in the square (Concrete/Stone area).

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)17:40, 22 February 2014

I changed it back.

What the hell did they do during that text error maintenance fix?

Infodude575 (talk)18:21, 22 February 2014

They were fixing the Korean text error, nothing more, nothing less.

And the crashing.

Nise Panda (talk)18:31, 22 February 2014

Silvervine Fruit gathering still gives that Korean text.

Infodude575 (talk)19:29, 22 February 2014

Now you know how effective Nexon's team is.

Nise Panda (talk)19:32, 22 February 2014

Dance Time Points

I went from 540 to 600 to 650 from two games. Points are not fixed?

Ikkisuki (talk)17:40, 14 February 2014

650 -> 710

Ikkisuki (talk)17:42, 14 February 2014

-> 760

Ikkisuki (talk)17:44, 14 February 2014

its not showing me any numberical values anywhere that i can see(all i get are %s), where/how do you get those numbers?

Legiathan (talk)19:16, 16 February 2014

Magic powers.

Ikkisuki (talk)19:17, 16 February 2014

oh, ok, so that old miners' tale again.

Legiathan (talk)09:53, 18 February 2014

perhaps you're getting 50 and the extra from from time spent together?

WhitePass (talk)07:09, 15 February 2014

That's another possibility, but the info about 40 points came from Nexon. O-o

Ikkisuki (talk)09:19, 15 February 2014

so did the info about the cooking quest giving 3 cat's eyes (gives 5)

WhitePass (talk)06:30, 16 February 2014

Tru dat.

Ikkisuki (talk)19:18, 16 February 2014

Depths of the Heart Test

  • What kind of question is asked and what kind of answers are given?
    • Is it always the same question?
  • Are the answers placed in the same or different way for both players? For example, if they were different:
    • Player A: Answer A -- Answer B
    • Player B: Answer B -- Answer A
Infodude575 (talk)19:29, 17 February 2014

Not always the same question.

Answers aren't placed in same order.

Nise Panda (talk)19:31, 17 February 2014

  1. Always the same question, regardless of which Psychology Student you go to.
    • It's not the same for every couple obviously, but will be the same for the pair.
    • Questions range from how many breaths per minute (lol...?) to what is the first priority of the morning to something about uncertainty or despair (lolwut...?)
  2. Answers may or may not be switched.
    • I've gotten the same question and it was switched. So yes, same questions may have suddenly switched answers.
    • Like questions, answers will always be the same for that particular question.
レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)19:33, 17 February 2014

Wait they're all the same questions?

Because I got like "What food do you prefer?" or "What animal describes you best?" and other things like that.

or are you talking about how answers to questions and vice versa are the same...?

Edit: Ninja'd.

Nise Panda (talk)19:36, 17 February 2014

That's why I made the bullets. Same questions for the pairs but not for every couple. Questions do vary but doesn't really matter which student you go to be asked. Probably could elaborate more but neh...uncertainty is much more of a bad feeling that despair...yeah what a dark question for a lovey dovey event...

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)19:40, 17 February 2014

  • What animal describes you best?
    • Worm
    • Alpaca
  • You found a cursed book, what will you do with it?
    • Burn it
    • Hide in a closet, then forget

These are some really silly questions...

Infodude575 (talk)00:56, 18 February 2014

Clarification

It says you get points from "standing" near your partner, which suggests this is the only method. I'm pretty sure you can get points from "being" near your partner like using rest etc. Just want to make sure before changing.

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)11:36, 14 February 2014

as long as you are in range, I'm not sure how far, you will get points. I think you can be as far as around the range of a long bow. give or take.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)11:38, 14 February 2014

Yeah I just left it to logic. Keep it simple stupid and all that.

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)11:45, 14 February 2014

Do you have to be in DDI to accumulate points?

Infodude575 (talk)12:57, 14 February 2014

As long as you and your soulmate are nearby, you'll gain points anywhere.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)17:32, 14 February 2014

You can get romance points while resting at a campfire near the torch, while picking silvervine fruit, and while fishing. You can also get romance points being near your soulmate in Erinn.

Lionheart (talk)15:12, 17 February 2014

So basically: Just stay near your Soulmate.

Nise Panda (talk)15:46, 17 February 2014

Stay near your soul mate at any location, doesn't matter what you are doing (Dungeon, in avon, theater missions, flying, underground...etc), and you will get points...albeit slow and time consuming. Better off dancing and doing the psychology test.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)16:12, 17 February 2014

Doing all three is best. Managed to do it in 5 hours.

Nise Panda (talk)16:22, 17 February 2014

Okay, next question: Nexon's announcement says the minimum range for being with your partner is 20 meters or 2,000. True or false?

Infodude575 (talk)18:24, 14 February 2014

...minimum...you mean maximum right?

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)19:56, 14 February 2014

Yeah... Please excuse the typo.

Infodude575 (talk)20:11, 14 February 2014

that's more than a typo...anyways I've noticed that so long I'm around 2000 range wtih my soulmate, I still get points and the message thing.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)20:14, 14 February 2014

To add to this, it seems to only work in Doki Doki Island? I was doing dance party with my soulmate in my HS and we haven't seen the message in awhile. .3.

Nise Panda (talk)21:06, 14 February 2014

I'll stand idle somewhere with my buddy and take a look

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)21:19, 14 February 2014

Homestead results in nothing. Other places seem to work.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)22:01, 14 February 2014

Good to know .3.

Nise Panda (talk)22:02, 14 February 2014

Update: Anywhere works. I checked on my homestead as I afked for a nightly snack. It went up.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)22:18, 14 February 2014

Soulmate 100%

There's nothing else given other than the action? Since the action is permanent, you can drop soulmate and help a soulmate-less person get the action, yes?

Infodude575 (talk)00:29, 17 February 2014

Yes.

Nise Panda (talk)04:40, 17 February 2014

Boom Box Bugged

Everyone's boom boxes are bugged. It's supposed to jump around while it's playing apparently.

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)13:51, 16 February 2014

oh wait it seems to be only at 98% does it start to move

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)13:52, 16 February 2014

alright nevermind the % thing, it does move though. sometimes.

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)13:53, 16 February 2014

Fish cake effect.png

So they sell these special food effect items near the darts board. Seems there's no page for Fish Cake, which is what I ate in above. btw it leaves you fat, except it's not even fat it's muscle so you cant get rid of it ;_;

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)04:06, 16 February 2014

Doki doki food effects.png

There's also Sakura Petals, Stars, and Sparkles. Though some of the foods didn't seem to do anything.

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)04:22, 16 February 2014

Nice mods.

Imbored (talk)08:01, 16 February 2014

Metallurgy + Fishing

People are asking me if it's actually possible to get Cat's Eyes doing either of these. At least in the Fishing, no one I know has fished them up. Could be a bug, could be my friends are cursed. Either way it could be worth mentioning if the rate is incredibly low.

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)03:23, 14 February 2014

Metallurgy is possible. I've gotten 2 from...running around tryingg to beat people. not the best option due to mass crowds. Fishing, I have yet to get single one out of 3000 baits.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)03:24, 14 February 2014

The freaking grapes ;_;

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)04:49, 14 February 2014

This event seriously needs more resources.

Nise Panda (talk)04:52, 14 February 2014

Wenger isn't a liar, is he?

Infodude575 (talk)08:53, 14 February 2014

Friend just fished up one o- o...

Nise Panda (talk)13:53, 15 February 2014

Duplicate.

Nise Panda (talk)13:53, 15 February 2014

Hammer Game

What exactly is this "maximum power" score for the extra boxes? I just hit a 1.8k and still only got 1 box.

Ikkisuki (talk)22:52, 14 February 2014

They nerfed the Tara Festival/Moonlight-midnight festival hammer games. Basically no additional craps bonus boxes.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)22:55, 14 February 2014

  • Can you dance alone?
  • Do you have to dance with your soulmate in order to accumulate romance points?
  • How many sequences are in the dance?
  • How does scoring work with the dance thing?
Infodude575 (talk)10:21, 14 February 2014

To dance you have to be in a party of two. Not sure if more is acceptable.

Most likely answer: Yes.

Didn't bother counting how many sequence.

Scoring? My guess is that every key you press correctly amasses certain number of points. But each sequence is different from one another, in difficulty and length.

Nise Panda (talk)10:26, 14 February 2014

clarified just leave it as it is the last two are unnecessary

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)12:00, 14 February 2014

and it already says it in blue

Swissed ✰ Toast (talk)12:01, 14 February 2014

Should we mention that this is Nekojima island? Minus the cats and stuff obviously, and how you get there. Edit: They even still use the cat eyes.

Sath (talk)04:33, 14 February 2014

Doki Doki is actually of a slightly different shape, if you compare the east shore of the maps of Doki Doki and Nekojima. Also, they removed practically everything that made nekojima nekojima: no cat theme, you can summon dogs, all different npcs, the golden rat man doesn't even spawn anywhere, despite the message appearing. It would seem they made significant effort to take nekojima and NOT give us nekojima

WhitePass (talk)04:59, 14 February 2014

It is exactly the shape of nekojima. The map might have updated like all the other uladh maps to show how the map really is more accurately. If you look closer it fills in those little shades off the lines of the map.

Meru (talk)06:37, 14 February 2014

It's more like they recycled Nekojima.

Nise Panda (talk)05:11, 14 February 2014

A page for the island

Should we make one...?

Nise Panda (talk)14:28, 13 February 2014

That's what this page was intended for...but someone went ahead and turned it into an event page. Could just put (Event) and (Area) in the page names. What is it listed in-game?

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)14:35, 13 February 2014

Even in the game it's listed as 'Doki Doki Island', so we'll probably separate the two using (Event) and (Location).

Nise Panda (talk)14:37, 13 February 2014

In my defense, the front page linked there as a reference to the event.

Aknal (talk)15:15, 13 February 2014

Eh It's fine. We were bound to make both pages anyways.

Nise Panda (talk)15:18, 13 February 2014

Technically there is a page for the island we would have to change it up but I don't know if that would be appropriate. Nekojima Island is the page.

Sath (talk)04:40, 14 February 2014

We already have Doki Doki Island (Location) and for sanity's sake I feel that we should keep the two separated with only a small mention of each other. Which has been done.

Nise Panda (talk)04:41, 14 February 2014

Dance Party?

Do you need the boom box thingy o-e?

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)19:51, 13 February 2014

Yes.

Nise Panda (talk)20:09, 13 February 2014

...I'll just save my 400 cat's eye...and put it into 2 sets of Lunar Dragon armors.

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)21:30, 13 February 2014

The one that costs 30 is perm. The one that costs 10 only lasts 24hours. .3.

Nise Panda (talk)21:32, 13 February 2014

ohh...hmm...

レキシス・ミカヤ (talk)21:39, 13 February 2014

It's tradeable
