Displacement

Displacement

Oftentimes I notice it occur on startup only. Not once has a monster been knocked out of an offering circle's range when attacks are used after the animation completes.

What's everyone else experiencing?

On a more thorough examination, the part where it says pet knockback and Act 6: Crisis ignoring Shadow Bind is not true; this was done after Shadow Bind animation completes, and a Kunai Storm showed and struck their binded location rather than their supposed knocked backed/pulled location.

So, it seems like that the bind itself does not take into full effect until the animation completes, resulting displacement.

Kunai Storm's effect will always show on the enemy, not where the enemy is positioned. So unless you made sure that Kunai Storm was out of range of the enemy's new position, your "test" is invalid.

Uh, no I'm pretty sure it's the reverse. Kunai Storm's visual radius and attack area always hits the where the enemy is truly at, even though it shows them at a different area; I've seen this every single run in NPC Tourney.

Using skills such as Act 6: Crisis or Shooting Rush will ignore Shadow Bind on-start up

The reason for that because:

There is a small start-up time before the actual binding takes place.

And because of that any knockdown attack on the enemy when they're being shadow binded results displacement lag. The "ignore" is not a bug. That entire issue could be reworded to say "Due to the start-up before the actual binding, knocking down the target while they are being bound results displacement lag."
PS: the actual binding occurs when the animation completes.

I'm saying it doesn't update positions client sided.

I'm still tired atm. I only got up about couple hours ago and coffee is being brewed.

Isn't that what displacement lag is though? That makes the second half of the sentence redundant. Again that issue applies to all things that knockdown, not just Act 6 or Shooting Rush.

That makes the second half of the sentence redundant.

Some things can reset their positions by simply targeting/hitting them again. Many do not. And what do you want me to do, list every single skill with a knockdown?

Just say "Knocking down the target". Simple as that.

Wake up faster, will you?
