Use Crisis to deal as much damage to monsters as you can within the time limit. A higher score will result if you use this skill to pull all the enemies around with threads. As the test rank increases, stronger monsters will appear and you will need a higher score to pass the test.

General Tips

  • Your Puppetry and Close Combat ranks will carry over into the test, so having higher ranks would be useful.
      • Players have 20 Marionette 100 Potions and 20 Fine Marionette Repair Sets. While HP, MP, and Stamina potions drop from defeated enemies, Marionette supplies do not.
      • If a marionette falls unconscious, it will be automatically revived in 10 seconds. This timer will only start if the Marionette is out, and resets if unsummoned.
  • The circles in this mission spawn in three patterns. They are a four corners pattern, a diamond pattern, and a repeating x-shaped pattern.
    • Having a Marionette use Crisis in a circle to pull in the correct number of monsters or more will reset the player's cooldown.
      • Not pulling in the correct number of monsters will not reset the cooldown or complete the circle.
  • Understanding Puppetry skills is vital to the success of the test.
    • Crisis uses the Marionette's location as the center of the attack, not the player's.
    • Crisis will ignore Defense.
    • It is easier to see exactly where Crisis will pull enemies using Pierrot Marionette compared to the visually larger Colossus Marionette.
      • However, it will likely still be faster to unsummon the Pierrot Marionette for the Colossus Marionette when moving between circles.
    • Movement will move the Marionette while controlling them unless the player uses the Left Shift key or if the character and the marionette do not maintain a distance of approximately 3m.
      • Using Left Shift movement, it is possible for the player and puppet to both directly stand on a circle.
    • Control Marionette can be used to leave the Marionette while the player picks off straggler Foxes.
    • Switching between Pierrot and Colossus will reposition your Marionette and drop aggro from it.
  • In this mission if all foxes are defeated the current wave will spawn again to complete remaining circles.
    • However, the remaining foxes will despawn if all of the circles have been attempted.
    • This can be used to obtain enough foxes for the current correct number if there are currently not enough.
  • Besides the Gray Foxes that spawn, Foxes will generally circle the player or puppet they aggro.
    • The Gray Foxes that spawn in this mission are especially fast; they will move around erratically and away from aggroed players or puppets.
      • Wire Pull is especially useful in defeating this enemy, since it can easily stall waves from progressing.
    • With the player and puppet combined, it is possible to have all 10 Foxes aggroed at once.
  • Points are not received for defeating enemies; players can use any skill to take out any remaining stragglers in order to obtain more enemies to use Crisis on.
  • Players can disable names and chat using Ctrl+N to improve visibility of enemy skills.
