  • You can create a homestead by clicking the Homestead button next to the Action button in the Mabinogi equivalent of a taskbar and then clicking "Create a Homestead".
    • To create a homestead, you need a Homestead Ticket, which is received by owl after reaching a total level of 10.
    • The name of the homestead can be up to 20 characters long and you can use spaces.
    • You may not enter your homestead while Log off penalty is applied.
    • You may not enter the homestead from certain locations, such as Falias.
  • All fields start at level 1. Level 2 can only be obtained by building a camp or igloo.
  • The player can mine Homestead Stones with a pickaxe.
    • Collected Homestead Stones will be displayed in the top corner of the player's screen.
    • It is possible to get a Lucky Bonus (2 Stones) & Huge Lucky Bonus (20 Stones) while collecting Homestead Stones.
    • Homestead Stones regenerate once a day at 12:00 AM PST.
    • An ore deposit will contain 10 Homestead Stones at most at any given time.
    • You cannot collect Homestead Stones while on other people's homesteads.
    • You may only collect up to a maximum of 30 Homestead Stones during the Homestead Preparation Event period
  • Homestead Stones are used to build things or plant seeds.
  • Certain objects require extra material to build.
    • You must have the extra material in your inventory.
  • When you begin building the object you desire, it will take a certain amount of time to be completed.
    • You do not have to be on your Homestead for the object continue/finish building.
    • You do not have to be online for the object to continue/finish building.
  • Successfully building/growing an object will reward you with "Chicks".
    • Chicks represent the Homestead's experience and value.
    • Sometimes chicks are mistranslated as "Kons".
  • The higher level the Homestead, the more things that can be built/grown and the bigger the Homestead is.
  • To plant homestead crops you need seeds corresponding to the one you wish to plant.
    • When ripe, you must go to your Homestead, and harvest the crops.
      • Unlike harvesting farmed crops in Taillteann, the crops are instantly harvested.
    • The homestead crops cannot be sold, but they do earn Farm Points that will be used as currency in later Mabinogi content.
  • Music can be played to plants growing on your field.
    • The time for harvest decreases depending on your Playing Instrument rank.
      • The higher your playing rank is, the more time it decreases on crops.
    • If the plants dislike the music, the time for harvest does not decrease.
      • You may try again if the plants don't like the music.
      • Plants like music that results in a good or perfect performance (Get a success/Get a great success).
      • Plants dislike music that is badly played (Get a failure/Get a horrible result) or is too easy (song rank is more than 1 rank lower than your Playing Instrument rank).
    • You cannot play music to someone else's plants.
    • Plants will only respond to music once per harvest.
    • Playing Instrument skill must be rank F or higher for plants to dance.
  • In order to build a House/Mansion, you must click on your camp during Construction Mode.
    • The style of house depends on where the homestead is built.
  • You may only have one 'house' on your Homestead at one time. If you wish to build another house, you must replace the previous one.

    • There are 4 different Authorization Settings: Anyone, Owner, Owner's Friends, and Guild Members.

      • The number of Homestead friends you can have is determined by which type of house you have. (Unconfirmed)
  • Some objects build in Homesteads have the option to be Painted.
  • You can freely leave your homestead after initiating work (planting crops, building facilities, etc.); no need to sit by. The Homestead button on your toolbar will show the work's progress so you can keep an eye on it and know when to go back.
  • Any items left on the ground will disappear upon leaving the Homestead.
  • If you log off from your homestead, you'll log back in to where you were before you went to the homestead (unlike the Home channel).
