Description

Hedgehogs inhabit a self-dug burrow in a forest. They may be hard to spot in our daily lives, but they can be easily found in a forest under a pile of leaves or near the countryside. The first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word 'Hedgehog' is probably the quills covering their entire body that serve as a defense mechanism. These quills are soft enough to be petted when lying flat, but when hedgehogs feel threatened, they will reveal their sharp spines with barbed tip much like a chestnut burr.

The Hedgehogs in Erinn have a long lifespan and are sociable unlike the common hedgehogs that are known to be extremely independent. A Hedgehog is often suggested as a pet to someone who seeks a low-maintenance companion.

However, the Hedgehogs in Erinn are full of curiosity and gregariousness. They act indifferent towards Hedgehogs of the same color, but will immediately approach Hedgehogs of a different color with curiosity. They will also demonstrate their hidden strength and battle to impress the different-colored Hedgehog should they find an opportunity to battle in the same party. Of course, they would display the same remarkable strength for their masters within the party as well. Some say the Hedgehogs are showoffs, but what difference does it make? It is also said that Hedgehogs are solitary animals, but obviously rumors should be taken with a grain of salt.

The White Hedgehogs, in comparison to the Black Hedgehogs, have lower attack rate but they display strong and lasting endurance. If the Black Hedgehogs are known to be intrepid, the White Hedgehogs are renowned for their patience and consistency. Not only do the White Hedgehogs have defense skills from the get go, but they also learn to counterattack before smash. They can also provide substantial amount of aid to their owners as these White Hedgehogs acquire healing skills even at a low level, not to mention many talents they develop during their growth such as using the lightning bolt. If you're not confident in a battle, you might want to consider traveling with them for an upgrade in stamina and attack rate. A White Hedgehog couldn't be a better match for you if you prefer a mellow pet over a brisk one.

Although many people say a Hedgehog has a face only a mother could love, if you ask the owners, they will incessantly go on about how lovable and cute the Hedgehogs are. You won't know the multi-faceted qualities of the White Hedgehog until you've had one as a pet. See for yourself!
