  • One time, as I was going down Nubes Mountain all alone to see Ffion, I almost got in real trouble.
I came face to face with a gigantic dragon I've never seen before. I was so scared that all I could do was cry.
Luckily for me, Taunes happened to be passing by the area and saved me. He first calmed me down, put me up on his shoulders, and blocked the scary dragon's attack.
If it wasn't for him, what would've happened to me? Even now, I get chills just thinking about it.

  • Are you looking for a better weapon? If so, head south and you'll find the Blacksmith's Shop where Ferghus works. Tir Chonaill is known for its fearsome warriors, but interestingly enough, there isn't a single Weapons Shop in town.
Why? Because only beginners and cowards entrust their lives to weapons! If you want to become a true warrior, never mistake your weapon's power for your own.

  • You can't find the Weapons Shop? Hmm... Well, this is very heartbreaking to say, but there is no Weapons Shop in this town. You will need to go to the Blacksmith's Shop if you need a weapon.
All weapons and armor are made at the Blacksmith's Shop by Ferghus himself.
There's not much of a variety there, but talk to Ferghus if you need something.
Perhaps it's better this way. You know that weapons and armor won't make you a real warrior, don't you? If you depend on them too much, all your training may end up in vain.

  • A blade from a weapons shop is useful as a backup weapon, but you need an artisan-crafted weapon if you plan to become a serious adventurer.
  • Every adventurer relies on her weapon to protect herself. I'm sure you do, too.
(You ask Yvona what her weapon is.)
Ha... People always ask that of bards. When I first started out, I had a knife. Then I used a cylinder, and then a bow, and then a knife again.
These days, this flute is my weapon. Of course, I can't exactly deal with enemies who are far away, so I still keep my bow handy. Just in case.
  • I make a point of visiting the blacksmith whenever we're in town. It wouldn't do to have my weapons break out in the wild.
  • Maybe you know the answer to this question. Why do they sell farming equipment and armor at weapons shops? Aren't those shops supposed to specialize in weapons? They aren't general shops, after all...

Various 2
  • Weapons are important. When you face Fomors or wild beasts, all you have is your weapon to protect you.
...Since Humans are physically weaker and less skilled than Fomors or animals...
Redire Various 2
  • When it comes to weapons, no matter what anyone says, the best weapon is the one you're most comfortable with.
Choosing a weapon just because it's expensive or powerful, even though you're not familiar with it, is basically walking into your own grave in battle.
...On the flip side, it means that if you've purchased a new weapon, you should train it often so that you get used to it. But constantly maintaining the durability and the balance of the weapon through repair and modification is not that easy as well.
...So this is a warrior's first dilemma. To go through the Weapon's shop where they sell new weapons, or go to the Blacksmith where they repair weapons...
...But it seems like these days there isn't much of a difference.

  • Mr. Waboka-the brother of late Mr. Kunka-is running a weapon shop.
Although Mr. Kunka is no longer with us, he's remembered by us Cor Villagers.

  • My tribe uses weapons for one reason: to protect ourselves from the Goblins.
We must keep alive until we fulfill the holy mission that we've received from the Great Spirit.

You can talk to Meles at the Weapons Shop in town which is located just west of the town square.

  • Taunes is an elite Giant warrior, a true pride of Physis. Unfortunately, he has grown ill and can't fight like he used to... I'm hoping that he will be able to join me soon to wipe out the Connous Elves.

  • Haha, Taunes... He might seem quiet and cold, but he actually has a great big soft side. If anything, he's just really shy.
According to most, he becomes a completely different person when he's holding a weapon... I wouldn't know because I've never seen it.
I do know that he can't hold his liquor. He'd probably prefer a piece of candy. He would've made a good drinking buddy, too... It's rather unfortunate.

  • If you go to the Weapons Shop, you can meet Taunes, the war hero.
He may not be like he once was, but I am hoping he will use the sword once more for Physis.

In terms of skills with the sword, let's just say that Taunes is my only rival in all of Iria. When Taunes first came from the battlefield, I thought, 'Finally, someone who can actually challenge me.' I was so excited that I challenged him to a duel a couple of times...
He must be scared of me, though... He acted like he didn't even hear me! I was so insulted that I almost used my special attack.
But, then I figured he was merely trying to play mind games. So I stopped my attack just in time. It was only possible, because I am so patient.

    The Blacksmith...
(He suddenly clears his throat loudly.)
There is a young man at the Bazaar, always sharpening his knives. He is there every day, sharpening and dreaming of revenge. Perhaps he is the reason I... Ah, nevermind. I believe he can help you.

  • It would be impossible to buy a Spirit Weapon at a Weapons Shop. Not only are Spirit Weapons rare, but also it is a difficult task to make a contract with spirits already inside of weapons. There is so much to consider.
So don't look for other Spirit Weapons at the Weapons Shop. CharacterName, I want to be your only one. *chuckle*.
