Description

Urgent Shot allows you to focus your mind to fire arrows faster than usual. Use it to attack and interrupt the enemy's actions, knocking back the enemy. Your next archery attacks have increased damage for a set time.

Details

• Requires a Bow or Crossbow and the respective Missile equipped.
• Costs 10% of the user's max health and 10% of the user's max stamina.
• Fires a shot that pushes the target back a distance of 500. For the next 10 seconds, Archery Skills such as Magnum Shot or Crash Shot will have increased damage.
• Having a bow equipped will force the user to walk while the skill is loaded.
  • This does not apply to crossbows.
• Unlike other Archery Skills, Urgent Shot has no aim time and is instantly fired upon use.
  • This also prevents Evasion and Luck's passive evasion from avoiding Urgent Shot.
  • However if the target moves out of the weapon's effective range as the skill is being used, Urgent Shot will miss.
• Despite being an archer skill, Urgent Shot does not inflict any wounds.
• Natural Shield, Charge, Lance Charge, and Defense shunts Urgent Shot's damage and pushback.
• Elves can use this while on a mount.
• Giants cannot learn this skill.

Trivia

Originally, ranged attacks could miss if the aim meter was at less than 100%. Urgent Shot could only be used shortly after a miss, and was the only archery skill guaranteed to hit, always.
