From Mabinogi World Wiki

The portrait sizes are pretty inconsistent.

I think they should all get an overhaul someday (a project for much later, since it's not too important) and probably all be about 50w??h pixels. :x ~Rusty~

Ya i made most of them bigger. Please do not undo what I did. We can try making the portraits of everyone. -- Hawk400206 05:44, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

The images are good now, at 100px width, but when we get more images working on the page, we may have to change it to 75 or even 50. Aside from that, the current problem is how the images are working. Lets use Andras for example. The table is trying to use her image as [ [Image:Andras.jpg] ], but her actual image was uploaded as [ [Image:Andras.JPG] ], the difference being the capitalization of the file type. We need to figure out a way to make the table use both JPG and jpg (which could cause problems, if something.JPG and something.jpg are both uploaded, and different), or we need to re upload all the images under .jpg (or .JPG and change the table). I think reuploading is the easiest, and best way, and everyone on the wiki should probably try their best to stick to lowercase filetypes, though I realize it may be the applications (that the user is using) fault for the filetype. ~Rusty~

Friendliness

I honestly have NO idea if that's a word, I think it is. Okay anyways: The more you become friends with a NPC, or the more they hate you, their portrait "changes". Bigger smile, slightly squinting eyes of hatred, etc.? Should we add that to the NPCs, maybe in the "Gallery" section or so? Because it might be of useful information, though maybe not o.o"--♫ѕτя♪ 21:31, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Shop Formats

I've seen people using two types of shop formats. Here they are:

[deleted]

I'm confused about which one I should use, so I need help. --Aramet 16:25, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Renamed & Moved

I renamed "Location by Town/Area" to "NPCs by Town/Area". Since this is NPC section, I kept thinking what "Locations"? we are talking about so I changed it to NPC for clarity... I also moved the generation related NPCs to a new section called "NPCs by Mainstream". Please make chages as needed. --Sweetspot 12:59, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Glewyas and Briana

They're listed in the OSTs, but not here? --KaedeKit 15:08, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Eiry

Should we mention her somewere? - A Random User 03:50, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Other G12 NPCs

There are some NPC(and their icons) in this video that I haven't seen before, even in the KR Test files. Anyone have a clue? --Jαy 04:12, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Just going to leave this here:

Call me crazy, or just very interested in information dealing with certain NPCs or even mythology itself, or maybe the Dev's just got creative with this but!!

The following characters: Berched, Merlin, Dowra, and Young Tarlach (which you'll have to notice their NPC portraits for this), all tend to have some sort of blue gemstone as a necklace or earring.

What even is this? Because I'm dying to know what it is or if it has anything to do with magic or light, I have no clue.

I've assumed it's just my imagination, could just be a fancy piece of Ladeca. But it's neat and I wondered if they were related. c:

A "fancy piece of Ladeca" is the most likely thing based off our current knowledge so you might have already answered your own question, lol. Another possibility is just that some character designers just wanted to put a glowy blue thingy somewhere on the character and never actually considered what it would really be. Unless one of the keyword discussions actually mentions what it is though, I don't think we'll ever know for sure.

Blargel (talk)07:35, 11 August 2015

Yeah, I suppose so.

I was just really hoping there was a reason behind it, some interesting story added that's all! c:

"Fashionogi", latest trend in the NPC world, maybe.

Infodude575 (talk)15:53, 11 August 2015

Millia has one as well, albeit a bit different. Disincluding Dowra, my guess is that simple dnd-esque mage jewelry. Dowra's seems to be haphazardly stuck on, but the rest fall in line with it.

Couldn't find any other NPCs with them though.

i'd like to request that millia and akule be moved into a G18 section from future NPCs, as they've already been implemented.

Maui999 (talk)14:10, 30 June 2013

Scratch that, millia needs to be put into g17, as well as shamala.

NPC Music.

So I was wondering about this for a day or so, but this also includes dungeons or shadow missions, or maybe even towns. Skill pages for example have youtube coding to show examples and such. Would it be a good idea to encode a wiki-type code; (yes, I'm terrible with words right now), to include an MP3 file that does not auto play, but gives you a play option to play an NPC's track or a track for a dungeon, shadow mission, or town? I just thought that would be pretty interesting, or is it just too much and not needed? Add your thoughts. c:

This sounds like an awesome idea. o3o

Karis/Carasek, Shenon, Eiry

Should Karis and Carasek be moved to the "Various" section? I don't quite like it, since they both only appear in two locations, but I think it's better than placing both under two sections.

Is Shenon still alive in Erinn? If he is, where is he?

Why is Eiry in the "Various" section? She's just an Ego NPC.

Akira21:16, 22 December 2011

Shenon's still at Port Ceann if I remember correctly.

Generation NPCs

We have been hopping back and forth on the NPC pages about the locations of the Generation-Only NPCs. Should we just write something uniform like 'Generation Area' and make it link to NPCs#Mainstream Only NPCs (by Generation)? I also think we should remove the location part of the table for that section of this page.
