I know for a fact that they are named Great Horned Owls not Eagle Owls! There is no such thing as an Eagle Owl. MPossibly it is misstranslated? -- hawk400206

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasian_Eagle-owl . The pet looks nothing like a great horned owl. They may have chosen the eagle owl because it's both Asian and European, a perfect representation of the juxtaposition Mabinogi is in. Eagle Owl is correct from what I can see anyway.... Besides Eagle Owl is REALLY vague, which allows more flexibility. I mean look at it. It could be any one of the various eagle owls. Health 22:39, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
